Pic says it all -- Pinnacle Souveran

In reply to the posts about waxes possibly muting something from carnauba being translucent, I have some ideas of my own about this. I have used a few expensive waxes, I've even had the privlage of using zymol vintage, and I must say the diffrence before and after waxing is very minimal...

Clear Coat Damage! What Should I do?

Yea the more I think about it the more I realize I should have taken before and after pics of that mercury's clear coat failure. But I really did not like working on that car so I did not take any after pictures, it was disgusting inside and the trunk and hood were repainted by someone wearing a...

Clear Coat Damage! What Should I do?

Just figured id let you know Lauren that you do not have to worry about thinning your clearcoat with the PC, that was not caused by thinning it with a PC. A PC does almost nothing to the overall thickness of the paint, it is an insanely gentle machine. Also I have had customers cars with clear...

    Finally Made The Purchase...

You know I hate to say it but you really should not open those pads so you can send them back and get the edge2000, I once used all lake country pads, and have since switched to edge2000... I will never go back...

What should i use on a red S-7 for a concours?

Yes, I would have to say here that prep is really the most important part, since its for a show, dont forget all the little nooks and crannies, use a small detail brush everywhere. Prep is really closer to 90% of the look, maybe more. Make sure you wash, clay, polish, polish again, glaze (rmg...

I'm telling you, try the victoria wax QD, it works great in the sun, heck, David (the owner of victoria wax) is such a nice guy he would probably send you a free sample no problem. I have had some great conversations with david, and I have full confidence in his products, and I have personally...

    RMG Application Question

I have great results with a blue pad working it in until its almost dry, but keep in mind, it is not abrasive, you do not need to work it like you do with a polish. Also, when I use abrasives I use a VERY small amount, whereas when I use RMG I use a little bit more.

    Best Waterless/'Little Water' Wash Product

ONR is far superior to DP 4-in-1, I can say this because I own, and have extensively used both. Now that I have tried both, I buy ONR by the gallon, better results, and uses literally half of what dp 4-in-1 needs, just look at the labels on both, you get twice the bang for your buck with ONR.

XMT360 Vs. ColorX Vs Werkstatt's Prime Acrylic Vs Poli Seal

I don't think poli-seal contains any fillers... From the poli-seal page: This revolutionary product will eliminate (not hide) minor paint imperfections and blemishes while creating a perfect shine on all types of paint.

    Best filler glazes/waxes.

Just because RMG is not available from AG does not mean you shouldn't use it. In my opinion, RMG blows away all of the glazes that AG carries. I am a glaze addict, and RMG is the best I have ever used. Besides ordering directly from clearkote means you get free clearkote samples.

XMT360 Vs. ColorX Vs Werkstatt's Prime Acrylic Vs Poli Seal

I think that would be between xmt360 and poli-seal. Both are excellent, but I think 360 might have more corrcting ability.

    OMG Another Newbie

If you really want a deep wet look, after you polish, clay, etc... Use RMG topped with victoria wax. RMG has insane wetness, and Victoria wax is very very deep looking. Many say deeper than souveran and even some high end zymols.
