I tried 3 passes on the hood and can't get everything out. Maybe my pads are no good anymore. I wash them every time after I use them. How long do they usually last? Or maybe Audi paint is just too hard...

So I tried the Ultimate Compound with the orange hex pad and it seemed to be a little better but it still diddnt get everything out. Should I be expecting a pretty close to perfect finish with this stuff?

Is there any sonax products that are similar to the M105 and M205 or the Menzerna 400 and 4000/4500? I have a few Sonax products available to me here

I guess Audi paint is pretty hard. I did another pass with the orange pad and 36 just incase it was my technique. The surface feels very smooth and shiny almost like glass but when looking on an angle in the light you can still see the scratches. I need new stuff.

Thank you! I'm going to try and get my hands on some menzerna. When you first start off how do you prime the pad with that stuff? I heard the X method or circle method on the pad, or some people just do 4-5 pea size drops.

Do you think the orange hex pad was too aggresive? Or maybe im just not getting enough cut...
