    Scratches and a Ford Raptor

I'm currently working on a 2013 Fod Raptor (black). The owner took the vehicle off-roading and did a number down the sides. I'm testing out a few of the scratches to determine my process moving forward and I just can't seem to make a dent. I went as far as my pe-14 paired with a surfburf pad...

    GG6 is Broken...

Update: Earlier this week, I received the new GG6. I'm extremely happy with the service provided by both AG and GG. I'm sure other polisher manufactures offer warranties, but For the forseable future, GG will be my paint polishing go to tool! This week I have two cars receiving my base level...

    GG6 is Broken...

I contacted Griots today. Filled out a return paper, packages everything up, and sent it packing. They will review everything and send me a new one. Hopefully it will be a quick turn around. The lifetime warranty they provide definitely played a huge role in my original purchase.

    GG6 is Broken...

I've personally owned my GG6 for two years now and in that time period, I've had two issues. The first was minor, as the on switch wasn't pushing the internal switch down to activate the machine. The second happened today while working on a customers vehicle. Not 100% on this one though. When...

    Approaching People / Businesses

I contacted them and will wait for a response over the next several days. I like both of your ideas of before and after shots, as well as a possible finders fee if referrals are generated from the restaurant.

    Approaching People / Businesses

Good Afternoon AG's, This question has been running around in my head for a while now and I figured now was good as any to ask. I know that word of mouth, google adwords, and my social media accounts have all helped to drive business, but every now and then I see a few cars I'd love to...

    Antique cars - need advice

I'm reading through this thread and you seem to be jumping around just a bit. As many have already suggested, a rinseless wash is your best bet when washing, as classics and antiques aren't sealed the way new vehicles are. Can you wash using the traditional method, of course, just understand...

    Coating choices

You both raised really good points! Maybe just due to my location (NJ) and the weather we receive here, I put looks aside for the ultimate in durability.

    Coating choices

Not to thread jack and this is directed at everyone, but if your going through all the prep leading up to a coating, why wouldn't the choice always be Opti-Coat? It's the only coating product that is permanent?

Re: Classic Car Restoration Detail That is a wrap! Finished up the mild restoration on the 67 Camaro this afternoon. I just like to thank AG's (especially Mike Phillips for assisting me, leading up to this job.) I have to say that this was an AMAZING opportunity to work on this vehicle...
