Nice save!

It's not perfect but there's no way to make it perfect.

It is a zillion times better and and he says his customer is happy and it's going to help the owner to sell it to just the right owner.

Kieran's project is a text book example of what I write about in the below article, if you're a detailer and you have not yet read this article, take a moment to read it and it will all makes sense...

"Taking your car's paint to it's maximum potential"

Re: Classic Car Restoration Detail

That is a wrap! Finished up the mild restoration on the 67 Camaro this afternoon.

I just like to thank AG's (especially Mike Phillips for assisting me, leading up to this job.) I have to say that this was an AMAZING opportunity to work on this vehicle. I've gained such a greater understand on how to work on classics such as this one.

Earlier today I had a phone conversation with Mike Phillips (such an awesome moment - highlight of my day maybe)...thanks for the kind words Mike! Means a great deal coming from you!

The customer is beyond ecstatic and was thoroughly impressed by the end result! She said she now has the tough job of trying to figure out its price point.

Sun was halfway down, so photo aren't the best, but enjoy!

Mike Phillips this photo is per your request! Look at all that oxidation. I had to clean the pad after every pass.

Hate to repeat myself but the OPPORTUNITY for all of us detailers to work on not just cool classics like this but cool classics with antique single stage paint is becoming more and more rare each day.

For example you just removed on opportunity from the market place. Now there's one less car to buff out. :xyxthumbs:

It was an absolute pleasure helping you on this project, wish I could have been there to help out myself!

And that kind of reaction cannot be replaced with money. Sure the money is good but it's the customer pleasing, no the customer being absolutely BLOWN AWAY by your work that is the most rewarding part and the part that will stick with you long after the money is gone...

Excellent work Kieran and this is a car detailing project you can use to show others into the future as a testimony that you are more than qualified to "touch" their car.
