How to divide larger body panels into smaller sections for machine buffing

As do I :) I wasn't suggesting that you skimped on the bumpers vs. the rest of the car, sorry if that came out wrong. In my comparatively little experience, the bumpers sometimes do not need as much attention as the rest of the car as they are in better shape. I was just curious what you used in...

How to divide larger body panels into smaller sections for machine buffing

How about your tips/tricks/tools used for handling those bumpers? :) Or do you not pay them as much attention when it comes to polishing? I find the flat panels pretty simple, but bumpers can be tricky. I usually use my PC with 3" backing plate and pads for the awkward bumper lines.

LC Hybrid pad cut vs. Flat pad cut?

Thanks, I think I found it, that helps a lot. I also found this note in regards to the Hybrid pad chart: Which invalidates my ghetto chart, since orange hybrid is a more heavy cut than original yellow.

LC Hybrid pad cut vs. Flat pad cut?

Has anyone had enough experience with both of these pads to know how the cut compares between the styles and associated colors? I am trying to figure out what hybrid pads I should order with my Flex 3401. I already have a bunch of orange, white, and black 5.5" LC flat pads. It looks like they...

Think I am going to switch up the add-ons to not show a price as suggested. Give me a little room to work prices for additional services.

Sheesh can't believe I had that spelled wrong this whole time. Spell checker failed me :o Yea I have been struggling with whether or not to show the prices. I read the same thing in Renny's book about not showing prices. But for me, the shops I have left brochures at have asked for price...

No problem, hope it helps. First off, thanks for the responses, this brochure is a living document so I am always looking at ways to make it better. 1. Noted on the carnuba wax wording. 2. Actually my Level 1 has a spray wax application. I may consider changing the Level 3 to "sealant or...

Need help on a rupes or flex!

Lots of good info in the thread. I too have been debating over a Flex 3401 or Rupes 21 to take over as my primary tool. Been leaning toward the Flex for the forced rotation feature as I often grow tired of my DA's stalling on curves. Plus, (I think) my existing stash of 5.5" LC flat pads would...
