    Wax won't come off car

What gets me is the totally random application pattern.

About to order 5" LC Hybrids...which ones?

If you really have zero intention of any correction I'd probably swap orange for blue.

About to order 5" LC Hybrids...which ones?

Only if you're trying to get a feel for what the colors are like, because one of any pad isn't nearly enough. I consider 3 of a pad to be the absolute minimum. Personally if doing the 6 pack I'd do Quantity 2 of them and do 4 Orange, 4 white, 4 Black.

    Wax won't come off car

Ok, so now that we've beaten the poor guy down for failing to RTFM, Any other suggestions? I don't think I'd try initially to buff it off using the new DA. Maybe a hard IPA wipe then polish and wax (correctly) ? I certainly wouldn't be the cheapass and try to leave this abomination on the car...

Auto detailing vs ____X___? Detailer in your daily life or just your car?

I tend to keep both my car and my house immaculate rather than emasculate. Even though I have a to die for wife I'm still in proud possession of my boys :)

    GG6 pad ?'s....

I have a Rupes that will prove that nonsense false pretty quickly... Now I own a GG6 and a GG3 Vibrator, and have a bunch of GG pads and I'll be the first to recommend your stuff, but statements like this? Bit of a stretch.

    Looking for second smaller polisher...

You could, with an aggressive pad/compound. It's not like the PE-14 where the minimum speed is like 600 RPM, it's more like the 3403 and like 1300rpm on #1. While it's not going to zip right through at that speed it's a small pad and it'll heat up quickly if you're not mindful. An example, Full...

    Looking for second smaller polisher...

Good choice. I gave the 3" GG and honestly think it would be best for the wife on the lonely nights I'm on business trips. It is essentially a big red vibrator. Vega I think it was however said that with the Rupes pads the GG can actually do correction although I have yet to try. I went the...

    Sunscreen on paint

Titanium dioxide is now being used as a new treatment for window glass because it attacks and degrades anything that touches it, thereby helping to keep windows clean. Geek link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UgbT2fJTqFY

    AGO! Feedback on my logo?

For giggles instead of "Auto" and "Detailer" Try "Vehicle" "Detailing" Auto denotes "not truck" for some folks.

    AGO! Feedback on my logo?

I would put Automobile above, and detailing below the center ribbon personally. Now there's just too much blank space.

    AGO! Feedback on my logo?

Leave Mobile and Salon out of the logo itself. Mobile is explained in the text below and you're mobile so not a salon. This way if you grow to a fixed location the logo can remain the same and just the text changes outside of it. Thank you for not using that car silhouette logo that half...

    Flex - first time experience

I don't know though. I really don't think that the more wattage motor of the Griots will necessarily fill that bill. The real complaint on the Rupes isn't that the motor bogs down, it's that the pad stops on complex curved surfaces. Both the Rupes and the Griots are indirectly driven pads for...

    Flex - first time experience

Actually that wasn't a Rupes claim, it was a Todd Helme statement in a recent post, and it's slightly out of context. The gist of his statement was that while good pad rotation would give you a better finish with the Rupes due to crosshatching with both rotation and throw, that the Rupe's large...

Type II Water Spot Etchings Live With Them?

I love how people are so quick to say "oh go buy a Flex" or other DA. There's nothing your PC can't do that the Flex can, it just may take longer. I own a Flex and a Rupes, and they're nice, but all they really are for the $ is timesavers. For a business time is $, for a hobbyist that corrects a...
