Try steel wool, like an SOS pad. ( caution this is only for extreme cases to restore a dull and scaled aluminum wheel) I use it on billet motorcycle stuff all the time. You will get the shine back and then you can use a metal polish to bring it back to perfect. Nate

That is very queer. I have used 3M swirl mark remover on several cars with much success. May be you where just not giving the polish enough time to breakdown and do its job. 3M polishes have a very long working time witch, like you said, is why a lot of professionals use it. Nate

The truck had been hacked in the past with a rotory so the paint was thin in a lot of spots. Thats why i didn't try to remove all the marks just to improve it the best it can be.
