UPGP really takes quite a bit longer to cure than Optiseal in my experience.. I don't even bother to look or touch my car until 12 hours after applying UPGP because it does take A WHILE to set and cure. Optiseal "looks" ready after only a couple hours or less. I'm also thinking that perhaps...

It's rather expensive, but "La Fin Du Monde" is the best beer that I've ever had. 9% Alcohol and absolutely delicious until the last drop. Every time I go to the store, that 4pack is tempting me. Hoegaarden is probably my second favorite.

I've only used 476s from the collinite brand but I don't really care for what it does to metallic flake if thats what you mean by "POP". It seems to dull flake on the paints that I've used it on. I wouldn't let this convince you to not use it though, as it very well might work great on your car.

Yeah, I've used 476s over PBBH with no issues.. I think you'd be hard-pressed to have durability issues with ANY of the collinite waxes period, regardless of what you apply them over.. they are VERY heavy duty.

Why did you even bother replying with that? You could have just said "yes its normal" since you already knew.. that takes less words and you would've actually contributed something. It's not like the internet is running out of space and this extra thread is detrimental to these forums.

Its the reason why I don't use most carnauba waxes any more, it makes them even worse. I don't seem to get them when I use sealants, the water seems to evaporate and not leave spots behind.. I have no idea why it happens like this, but it's the reason why I use only UPGP now on my own car. God...

I wouldn't even bother washing it until you can go the whole mile and wax/seal it at the same time. Something else to consider is some car washes leave stuff behind which could possibly affect out-gassing.

I have not noticed any extra dust or pollen accumulation on areas cleaned that Ive cleaned with UWWP and its the only QD/WW that I use these days. Dust accumulation and attraction is a major reason that I switched from waxes to UPGP as UPGP reduces dust and pollen severely. I love Ultima!!

I agree! Also, AFAIK the new 2011 Grand Cherokee is just based off the Mercedes W164 platform, which wasn't really anything to rave about.
