Personally I'd go with the D151 or the Poliseal. D151 will remove more defects but Poliseal and XMT will be easier to work with.

It's just the solvents that evaporate and leave the protection behind on the surface. Same reason the Collinite waxes and FK1000P stink, they're solvent heavy.

:iagree: :dblthumb2: Yeah. I dunno. I hope he doesn't decide to change Opti-Bond any time soon. It's perfect in my opinion. I have totally stopped searching for a different tire dressing. Opti-Bond is one of the only products that I've "settled on".

I wouldn't bother putting anything on trim that will run off in the rain, which basically means anything except UTTG (Ultima Trim/Tire Guard). They end up just making a mess on the paintwork. I'm assuming there must be other trim "sealants" that work like UTTG but I don't know of any myself.

I'll be moving to the Boston area within a year as well.

Opti-bond! Dilute a gallon to 1:1 and you get 2 gallons of an excellent tire dressing :)

I think it will work but you'll probably end up having to pump it back up before the 4 tires are up. Something like the hand pump pressure sprayers from Kwazar or Autogeek would work better most likely. Autogeek Chemical Resistant Pressure Sprayer, pump spray bottle, pressurized sprayer

QD strength just to be safe. I tried the recommended CL strength and didn't feel it was slick enough for my liking, although I can't attribute any scratches to using it at clay lube strength I feel safer using it at QD strength.
