For using as a clay lube , should I use ONR at quick detailer strength ?

or is everyone following the recommended suggestion on the bottle ?

I see many on the forum mentioning they use ONR at QD dilution to clay. So i wanted to ask first.

I want to avoid marring the paint , so I dont have to polish the car out anytime I clay.

What do you all think ?

QD strength just to be safe. I tried the recommended CL strength and didn't feel it was slick enough for my liking, although I can't attribute any scratches to using it at clay lube strength I feel safer using it at QD strength.

I used the clay lube dilution but was only using the Pinnacle poly clay which is real flexible and for "light" work.
Not sure how it will work with a heavier clay like DP.

Remember to use distilled water.....no minerals or dirt to scratch.
