Why is it so hard to dry my car?

Does it make sense to use quick detail and then go through with a wax? Or might as well use the wax for drying?

I waited a bit in hope of a reply email, but didn't get anything. Does anyone have any other ideas of who to contact? I'll be more than happy to email them, as long as I know who to email. Thanks.

    Beginner Supply List Check

They said they did, I have a list of what they were supposed to do. I have a feeling they didn't do everything they promised. The paint did feel very smooth when I picked it up though.

    Beginner Supply List Check

Not everything from AG, from 2 other sites as AG didn't carry all of the products I was planning on ordering. Thanks! Though I've ordered the Blackfire Crystal Seal Paint Sealant 4oz. It's a small bottle. Thought it would be good to have it just in case.

    Detailing Bootcamp in Bay Area?

I wonder if Mike would be willing to fly in for a class :) Maybe I should call around some detail places to see if they want to host something like this.

    Detailing Bootcamp in Bay Area?

That's true, though I'm in the 650/415 and still can't find any bootcamps/classes. Maybe it's just that people around here have enough money to get their cars detailed by someone rather than spend their own time.

    Detailing Bootcamp in Bay Area?

I'm quite surprised that there isn't anything in the area especially with the big car culture and "good" weather we have here.

    Beginner Supply List Check

I did some research on a concentrate vs QD and it makes a lot of sense to go that route as there are more uses to it. Last few questions: How often is too often to apply a sealant? If I were to wash the car once a month or once every 2 months is that to often? Can someone recommend a good...

Thanks for the welcomes everyone! Maybe I should move to the East Bay :)

    Beginner Supply List Check

Thanks for all of the replies! The 3rd bucket was for the wheels/tires. Let me try to understand. The no rinse or waterless wash would replace the QD? Or would it replaced the Wax? I think it was mentioned that it also contains a wax so is it redundant to use both? As far as the sealant. I...

    Beginner Supply List Check

Hi Everyone! I was hoping that someone would look over the list I’ve put together for my initial supply purchase. I currently have no supplies and have never really cleaned my own car before. I have a White 3 Series with Carbon Fiber interior trim and tinted windows, I just got her...
