I usually rinse before just so that if it's real hot outside the sun doesn't dry the foam bubbles on the car. So I rinse, then soap whole car ( let it sit for a few minutes), then rinse it all off, now start foaming panel by panel while foaming the wash mitt and rinsing wash mitt in rinse...

I love these products too.. Always use them when I detail! And it's seeming like they last forever. I spray so much to clean the pads yet the bottle never seems to decrease that much. Lol. Overall great products!
