    buy the cheap POS harbor freight DA. it still works, and compared to your hand it will be 20x faster. if you have a full detail arnsenal of products you could do a 105/205 or 3m perfect III and than a glaze. Both of those methods use a heavy cutting compound with a polish to clean up...

    if you get swirls or micro marring your going to need to be aggressive with the buffing. I went orange pad and WG TSR 3.0. came out 90% LSP ready.

    lots of glaze and wax every two wks will be the best you can do. dont wet sand it. you ll really be pissed then as it will be totally done for and look like crap

    Wolfgang Total Swirl Remover 3.0 Question than XMT 360....??

    with the 5.5 orage pad it was great on hard paint too. 5k speed, 15lb pressure, finished almost LSP ready. the XMT 360 cleared up anything left behind. It was a great 2 step job and using the AIO allowed me to skip polishing out minor minor stuff.

    both wool pads that come with it arent that great. get proper pads and a good backing plate.

    pass....goto a real shop and expect to pay 2.5-4x for that service. ask for or see if they will do a wash clay light compound or med. swirl remover finishing polish or finishing glaze (to remove any marks from the step above) wax/seal

    I use to work in body shop for 2 yrs. I did the finish buffing after it came out of the booth. 1500, 3k paper than 3m perfect 2 with a white 3m polishing pad. for this i was a 12-1300 rpms. wool pad, 3m perfect 2 and also presta polish (1500). I got everything out with a PC, wolfgang TSR...

    I do not quite understand why i get decent results (almost LSP ready) noramlly, but when i slow down to work on un even areas and body lines, fenders i get lots of swirls. It seems like i only get great results on flat surfaces?? Ive used a hi speed units, mikita 9227, dewalt 849, etc...
