Just to muddy the water I would suggest either Menz or WG with diminishing compounds. This will keep you safe from damaging paint while you are learning paint correction. Rock On :xyxthumbs:

Tape off all rubber,vinyl, trim that you will be buffing next to. Use 6.5 in pads. Without knowing the condition of the car it is difficult to to estimate number of pads you will use. look at the Lake Country CCS pads at the AG store and their description in order for you to have a better...

Nice. On the second picture I thought you had a good sized blemish in your paint correction, but realized it was the ceiling fan spinning - pretty cool. Got a sweet spot for the Prowler, looks great. Keep it up.

Dont forget to try claying. Several guys/gals have had great success using meguires red clay in this same scenario.

I have heard a couple of guys talking about switching to ceramic pads and the ceramic "dust" adhering to the rim. almost like it melted on. Have any of you heard of this?
