Excellent work on a beautiful automobile. It would have taken me twice as long to do the work that you did in 28 hours.
Thanks for posting all of the great pictures. I really enjoyed them.
That's beautiful work. I wish that I had one of those to do each week!
Is that a Rupes polisher in one of the reflections? I have never owned one so really don't know what they look like other than pictures.
That's great correction from one step polishing.
One thing I can add, from my experience, it is useless to try to remove any wax or sealant with any machine that I have tried.
They are all good for applying products but they don't remove very well. Don't waste your money trying to remove wax or sealant any way but with a plush microfiber...
I forgot to add the picture of the Flex 3401 that I used on the Honda to Nano Skin the contaminants out of the paint with the Nano pad after I did a waterless wash with Meg's Ultimate Wash &Wax. I normally use Nano Shock but a bottle of Windex was handy so I tried it on a small section with the...
I detailed a beautiful 2012 burgundy Honda, Saturday using Pinnacle XMT 360 on the front part of the car and Wolfgang Uber AIO on the back half. Both gave good correction and gloss, wiped off very easily and worked about the same with my rotary buffer.
When the car comes back into my shop I...
Tires and wheel covers cleaned with Meguiars Wash and Wax with MF towel, then tires dressed with Lexol Tire Shine. Free gift from AutoGeek.net. Excellent product, tires look new, no sling off. Will be ordering more.
For me, this is the hardest thing about detailing. I live in an area that makes it hard to get what a really excellent detail job is worth. There are a few that want the best and are willing to pay for it but most aren't.
I have always charged a flat price and ask them what they want and...
Looks like a good idea to me. I've never been happy with the chip repair that I have done.
Been thinking lately that I need to look into the best ways to fix them. This may turn out to be a good answer. Let us know how it works.
Is it possible for you to post pictures of your rotary buffer and the pads that you are using. If we had more information on these we can probably help you more.
If you get a DA you probably do want the Flex and the backing plates that come with the machine are fine. The others are nice but...
Yes the Purple Foam Wool pad was a little clearer than the orange CCS pad. But you have to take into consideration the bad shape of the panel. I think on a newer panel in better shape the orange pad would be as good.
I apologize for not knowing but I moved the precious post pictures to...
After your question I tried a orange CCS 5 1/2" on the old bumper following Nicks instructions. The correction and gloss are almost as good as with the foamed wool LC pad. It's hard to tell from the photo but the wool is slightly better but not much.
AG has hit a home run with this one. I...
