    HD Speed Question

HD speed works relatively fast. The cut is totally dependent on the pad you use. Softer you can go the better while still being able to correct minor defects. 4-6 section passes should be acceptable per area. Speed is a great product and produces excellent results. Enjoy.

Products you wasted your money and time on and why

By far the one that stands out to me is the BF Coating. Just a brutal product to use when all the other PBMG coating offerings are so effortless. Today I only use Opti-Glosscoat or Opti-Coat Pro/plus. Simple simple simple and the results are the best in my opinion for all around paramaters and...

    2017 Mercedes GLC300

It's been a while since i've posted, just been way too busy. Figured i'd throw this one on the board since it's a brand new model. Supposedly one of the first on Long Island. Customer wants us to maintain the vehicle every 6 months, so we decided against a coating and went with Sonax Polymer Net...

    Another Gloss Coat Question

12 cc's seems a little light for a Silverado. It's totally OK to wipe on, let it flash quickly and wipe off in extreme heat. As long as the panels weren't hot, the outside temps shouldn't be an issue for the coating other than flash time. As for slick, gloss coat isn't as "slick" as some waxes...

Not so happy with Mark2 upgrade

I've tried Rupes-Fail Buff and Shine- Fail Griots- Fail and Pass (microfiber also fails at the hook and loop) Foam works Again, I have NEVER had these issues with a Flex, Original Rupes, PC, or the Boss machines we use everyday. It's something with the Mark II. Usually I'm a firm believer it's...

Not so happy with Mark2 upgrade

I beg to differ. The Mark2 makes pads fall apart at the hook and loop with minimal to no pressure on slow speeds. I know what I'm doing, and never had this issue with any other machine.

Not so happy with Mark2 upgrade

So I couldn't agree more with the above posters. The Mark II issues have nothing to do with technique. The polisher runs very hot and therefore the pads that are thicker are affected greatly. The only pad I have found to be satisfactory is the 5.5" Griot's. My Mark II sits on the shelf as we use...
