My dad drives a cab and it is inspected by the DMV every year. Any oxidation of the paint will result in failure of inspection. The vehicle is painted with with single stage paint. Trying to come up with some type of protection that will last a year or two.

Can a coating be used on single stage paint or is it a waste of product?

Not familiar with the tax laws where you're located........I'm in D.C. I claim what I make detailing from home (part time) and I also claim my loses, supplies bought etc. I have a general business license but it's for rental property only.
