    Help Replacing Pads

With all due respect, It's not my technique. I only use the black pads for wax/sealant application, so I run my GG 6" at speed 3 and apply zero pressure. When using the orange or pink pads for paint correction, I typically run at a 4 or 4.5. I very rarely use 5 or 6 and if I do, it's to remove a...

    Help Replacing Pads

I would say in have used them maybe 10 times or so. Most of the cars I do I use a combo wax, so I use a green pad.

Coating Prep: IPA vs CarPro vs Paint Cleaner

I wouldn't necessarily say that IPA instead of CarPro was a "crazy" prep option. Fair enough. A bit condescending, no? You ever taken your car somewhere besides the dealer for work? Probably, although this isn't what the manufacturer recommends. You don't always have to use products of the...

Coating Prep: IPA vs CarPro vs Paint Cleaner

I know there are basically three ways to clean and prep the paint prior to the coating application (post-claying). I know that some of the coatings on the market come with their own product to strip polish oils and what not off the paint. There is also the Carpro Eraser and then your standard...

    Kwazar Mercury Pro Spray Bottles

I paid $15.00 a piece for these. I shouldn't have to tape it together. I'd rather throw them away and buy new ones.

    Kwazar Mercury Pro Spray Bottles

I had yet another top pop off one yesterday and it wouldn't work afterwards. This is the 3rd one that has failed. I am throwing all of these away and sticking with Meguiar's bottles. These are total garbage. Pretty pathetic for what I paid for these things.

    M40 Problem

LOL. I actually had about half a bottle that I had filled about a week ago. I shook it up pretty hard for about 30 seconds and used it yesterday. It was back to normal! Crazy it settled or seperated that quickly.

    M40 Problem

Don't get me wrong, this is by far one of my.favorite products but one of the things I have liked about it is that there is a nice to satin shine. This doesn't have anything. I like for my customers to be able to tell it has been protected without being too much.

    M40 Problem

I regularly purchase M40 by the gallon for business use. I dont typically do interiors but I did one yesterday. I noticed yesterday that after application there was 0 gloss. It usually leaves a satin/semi-gloss finish afterwards but it's not leaving anything. I noticed a few weeks ago but didn't...

    Interiors: APC vs Dedicated Cleaner

I see a few of you use Zep Carpet Cleaner. I was looking at it yesterday at Lowes and it is saying it can only be used with a steamer or extractor. I assume I can still spray it on, agitate, and either wipe clean with a MF or MF+steam. If this is the case, can't beat 9.00 for a gallon of that stuff!

    Interiors: APC vs Dedicated Cleaner

Wow, I just realized I put 4:1 when I meant 10:1. I only use 4:1 on wheel wells and tires!

    Interiors: APC vs Dedicated Cleaner

Did you read my question? I just always have. The Folex smells better than the APC so it helps with that.

    Interiors: APC vs Dedicated Cleaner

I actually lease my shop space from a carpet cleaning business, which works out well. Not sure why I didn't think of that. I will see what he recommends for carpets/upholstery. Thinking now I could probably get a better price for bulk cleaner from one of his distributors.

    Interiors: APC vs Dedicated Cleaner

I have always used 4:1 APC to clean all of interior carpets and upholstery, including headliners. I usually topped with Folex just to make it easier to remove stains and odors, plus it smells good. I was wondering if anyone had an opinion on the differences between APC for interiors vs a...
