Annually he could be saving 10 times that much in interest alone, assuming it's being financed. Derrick

Pressure washers: What do you use them for?

I agree. A high degree tip, one with a wide spray pattern is the only type that will work at that high of psi without tearing the paint off. But if a newbie gets too close with these tips they can still do major damage. Derrick

Pressure washers: What do you use them for?

ONR. I know its not a harsh chemical but it serves the same purpose as a presoak. It'll loosen and make removing dirt easier, without damaging the paint. Derrick

Pressure washers: What do you use them for?

"Sorry, but your example isn’t relevant, accurate of factual and like I said won’t clean a car 100% unless friction is incorporated." Where did you read in my posts where I said friction is not needed? I agree 100%, friction is needed to clean a car. You assumed I said otherwise. I simply...

Pressure washers: What do you use them for?

David, I did not attack your opinion. I merely disagreed with it and gave a factual example to support why I disagreed. BTW Ziggo99 was correct. My knowledge does not come from washing cars, it comes from managing and maintaining one of the nicest and most technologically advanced self serve...

Pressure washers: What do you use them for?

David, Pressure washers used incorrectly will easily damage paint and most people misuse them all the time! Here's an example: Do you know what is the most important selection at a properly functioning self serve car wash? It's not the high pressure soap, the tire cleaner, the engine...

Did my week old Flex LW 3403 just die?

Frosty, I've had my 3403 for over 2 years and not so much as a hic-cup. Performance has been spot on. It gets a little warm when I am using the Blue 3M pad with Ultrafina but other than that, it works flawlessly. With yours giving you that much trouble, it might be defective. Derrick

    Flex 3403 review...

Hi Nick, It's Derrick in Grapevine. Did you open a shop and go full time? Sorry I missed the meeting with Mike. I had to do something with my son that day and couldn't make it. The flex rotary is a great machine. It just can't handle pads much larger that 6 inches or it will over heat. Derrick

Opinions needed on first attempt with Flex 3403

You seem to be close to burning the paint. Heat is NOT what you want. Before you start finishing a panel make sure you wipe off all of the previous compounds and polishes or you will reintroduce swirls into the finish. Then lower your speed and use a finishing pad and polish to remove any micro...

    Brinkmann Swirl Finder Light

I wish I worked in marketing. Had the package on the shelf in a closet. Opened it up and read it. I got mine when you taught us at Wash Solutions in Dallas a few years ago. It's a really good tool. Oh yeah thanks for the apron and CD case. I'll see you at Nick's place in a few weeks. Derrick

The thingy is a retractable hanging ring. The number 2 light probably has it flipped forward which is why you don't see it. Derrick
