Aluminum is highly reactive to strong acids so if you use acid type cleaners be sure to dilute it to the recommended ratios and complete one wheel at a time. In the self serve car wash industry the wheel cleaner and the degreaser are USUALLY the same product just diluted to different ratios...

Petrol, I think you need a respirator that reduces chemical vapors, like the ones designed to be used in a spray booth. 3M has those too, so just go to a 3M distributor and tell them your problem and they should be able to get the correct one for you. Derrick
