CQuartz - Ease of removal questions

If you are talking about Cquartz Original, it should be super easy to wipe off. If it is tacky like you described, most likely it needed more time to cure before wiping it off. I usually wait 45 minutes or longer before removal.

Scholls S3 Gold Compound vs UC

Yes I have used UC. UC is a good polish and is very easy to work with. However IMHO, S3 is leaps and bounds ahead of UC in terms of results, both are very user friendly.

Scholls S3 Gold Compound vs UC

^^This! Here is a few excerpts from a thread I posted on the carproforum Here's what we are currently working on. This is a 2004 GMC truck that's spent its entire life being an off road truck in the mountains of southeast Idaho. It's seen its share of sage brush and pine trees..:rolleyes...

Wheels were polished with a Mothers Power Ball and by hand in the tighter areas where the polishing ball couldn't reach. Thank you, however I believe the true hero here is CarPro Reflect. It did a great job, cut well, finished to an incredible gloss, and did it very quickly. I probably only...

    Car Pro Reflect - Awesome!

Definitely an awesome product. Works very well! It produces overwhelming gloss in a short amount of time, IMO that ROCKS! Why would you ever want to work something longer to achieve the same (or lesser) results..:dunno: BTW to the OP; your car looks great! __________________

    Reload Looks Greasy

^^This, as well as using a very small amount of product and only do a small area at a time is key! Also coatings do not feel as slick as traditional waxes or sealants, but that has nothing to do with their performance.

I know it’s been awhile since I’ve been an active poster (“life happens”), but after a very nice visit with my good friend Richy the other day (about this car) I decided I was long overdue. I contacted Richy to seek his advice as to what would be the best way to address some paint chips on...
