I'll have to check those options out. This car doesn't have a cabin air filter, I would of thought a Lincoln would.

    Mold/ old smell, removal?

So long story short I have someone's car that has been sitting for awhile, till he gets back we finally put it on insurance and registered it so we can drive it so nothing breaks or freezes up. Car though has this awful old / mildew smell in it seats are leather so I was planning on cleaning...

    Getting truck painted, question

So I'm finally getting my pick up painting, just going be the bed and driver's rocker panel. Currently my truck has pinstripe that isn't painted. I am not a fan of it at all and was going tell the body shop to just not replace it. Now the bed will be fine because it's being repainted but the...

Looking for opinions on some new MF's

I don't mean to hijack your thread, but figured instead of posting a new thread I can ask a question here since it deals with MF towels. What do you guys think about harbor freight MF towels? Yes I know they are junk but for engine bay/ wheels/ and interior would it be fine for? Local harbor...

    My microfiber carrier

I always wondered how people store their microfiber towels. I need to store mine, now I'm not a mobile detailing business just doing my cars. Now that I got all new towels I'd like to find a safe way to store them so junk doesn't get attached. The Rubbermaid idea is smart, I was thinking of...

    Dash cleaner/undercarriage/ drying towels

Nice thank you! Another question, towels for cleaning my plastic dash, would it be bad to use the kind you can get at Costco/Walmart in bulk? I figured since they are crappy for paint, it wouldn't hurt to use them for that. But I am not positive so any advice I appreciate.

    Dash cleaner/undercarriage/ drying towels

Yea I saw a lot of good reviews on with the dry me a river towel so I was aiming and that, but when I saw the Pluffle I wasn't sure. I'll pick up a couple of the dry me a river first. Do you guys just use a microfiber towel to clean the plastic dashes? Or use any special tools? I will check...

    Dash cleaner/undercarriage/ drying towels

Normally when I clean my truck I just wipe down the dust then spray some 303 on a microfiber and massage it in the dash. Recently I have been noticing my plastics being dirty and maybe I should amp up my supplies and get a cleaner for the dash. I was curious on what some people use for a plastic...

2007 Avalanche: keyed twice and faded trim

Did the iron x paste and compound take away that rust really good? If so I'll have to get this iron x stuff and what compound did you use? I was afraid of sanding it in such a small area!

2007 Avalanche: keyed twice and faded trim

Turned out great! Question for you, that little rust chip on the truck, how did you go about sanding that little section out? I have a spot like that on my hood that I would like to take care of but not sure how to handle it. Also for touch up paint would it be fine to use either the autoparts...
