Who am I to say, but looks alone shouldnt be the primary factor for compound comparison. I think clocking the time from compound to finishing polish is really the best judgement. Time> ease of use> looks >everything else :)

I think it should be simple like, group buy. Then describe the situations where a group buy works, offices ect. Be careful not to sabatage any of your current customers who have more then 1 vehicle you do at a time. So a group buy would have to be 4 or more in my opinion, preferrably 6 eh?

As far as it going over your lsp, my vehicles are coated and it doesnt really bother the coatings.

Yeah german polymers gets an eye roll from me, since its made in florida and all. I use UBER from time to time and the 1/3 of an oz per gallon is a sufficient dilution for rinseless. I dont know about the detail spray vs. waterless situation though.

Anyone have an example of a polish sold today that anyone with a few hundred hours of experience couldnt get a very good finish with? I remember getting good results with DACP, some top of the line stuff from years ago, anything really. Just had to learn how to use it one way or another. But...

Z8 is the predecessor of the likes of ultimate spray wax. Optimums has UV protection in it as well as caranuba, produces a softer glow similar to a wax, whereas Z8 is a very bright look with probably minimal durability and no UV protection to speak of.

The griots towels are simply amazing.

I only rinseless wash but I drag out the hose every time, to hose it off before I wash it. Rinseless means after you wash it not before. No one would wash mud and dirt without hosing it off first. Its not sorcery.

114 is like towel drying a regular car wash soap. Always leaves spots and streaks. Its a great product in many ways, but not for washing for me.

I never got the hang of using it on my paint. I always fought spots with it. It is great for many other uses for me though. it is a solid product, total bummer.

Maybe recoat the duller one.

I love using spray waxes or even FK425 as a drying aide. I use them every wash and slather it on everything. Couple with the griots new towel and its like magic.

Im an S corp as well, but dont let that fool you into thinking you cant be sued. You have to keep everything separate or you open yourself up for law suits.

I stopped using the sio2 sprays after the first use of them. For the most part I use a polymer spray wax as a drying aid every time as it works better.
