Rebottled or not, the FMJ is a very good product.

I used 106FF with Edge blue and had no marring at all.

I have the 106FF which I think is the same as nano. Use the blue edge with it. Good stuff (should be for the price).

Haven't done anything to my Volks yet, but I think I'm going to do FMJ and Wheel Wax.

How does UDM differ from PC?

First time out of the box with the PC. Used Clay Magic bar, Menzerna 106FF with Edge blue pad, then topped with Menzerna FMJ. Thinking about topping with another coat of FMJ.

I don't think anyone is beating on Edge, just expressing concerns and issues they have had. I had a problem with a pad and Aaron responded almost imediately. Never had such great response about any other product I've purchased.

If I hadn't already washed the pad, I'd post a picture to show the black on the top of the pad from rubbing the machine. Pretty sure I know when the pad is rubbing.

Don't think I broke it putting it on. Tried 2 lock washers today and no help with the rubbing. The foam looks like it has pulled loose from the plastic in the center. It's now off center so bad it really vibrates. Unuseable after one time of polishing. Not impressed.

So the pad hitting the PC caused the failure? It didn't rub the first time I used it. Only put the spacer in when it started acting up.

My blue pad seems to have failed, 2nd time I used it. The center plastic appears to be loose. The pad no longer spins, vibrates badly, and hits the PC. I even put the PC spacer in, no help. Is this a common problem? I got these because I thought they were superior to the LC, but it appears that...

Live and learn. Had what I thought were light swirls on hood. Used blue pad but not enough pressure. Had to re-do. Used orange then white and most are gone. Used 4 speed so next time I'll go to 6. Wasn't sure about skipping from orange to white, but it came out good.

I just polished on 4 and the pad didn't fly apart so it's all good.

Thanks. Wonder why the edge pad package has such a lower speed recomendation?
