Pinnacle SSII on top of Wolfgang DGPS?

I have been using DGPS on my car since late fall, and with winter decided to not bother with a wax topper. Then spring came, and we have so much pollen here I thought I'd wait a bit longer. So last weekend I decided what the heck, I'll just dust more often, it's time to wax :D Put SSII on top...

is klasse AIO required before sealant glaze?

The downside of being OCD about the shiny-ness of the car - you see every flaw. And I'm far from an expert, I meant I'm an expert at noticing it now because my car has it so bad....now, my wife's Lexus is flat and smooth like glass. Makes me crazy. Anyway, looks great!

Klasse High Gloss Sealant then a WAX?

That. You don't want to apply KSG over a wax, it won't bond well (if at all). I washed, or just did a QD if the car wasn't dirty, between layers.

is klasse AIO required before sealant glaze?

Looked at the photos in the other thread - looks good! But I see the orange peel, even in the photos. On those that are a bit closer, look at the edge of the reflections of straight lines - the jaggedness you see is because the paint isn't perfectly level. The first photos is a good example...

    Ultimate Polish?

Because they have marketing people. I use Ultimate Compound all the time by hand to fix small areas or RIDS I spot when washing/drying, when I dont' want to get out the PC, pads, and other products. A little on the corner of an MF towel by hand will get out minor marring and heavier...

    Tips for the Souveran/Klasse kit

You don't need to wait between the AIO and the next step. The KSG needs to cure, but it sounds like you don't have it. Defintely read the posted thread and some others related to Klasse application. AIO is pretty easy to use, though.

Klasse High Gloss Sealant then a WAX?

KSG seems to really pop after the 3rd application. I didn't believe it until I tried it (I did the whole car one day, then did a panel or two at a time, keeping track, each evening in the garage). Definitely let KSG cure for 12 hours or more. After topping, I'd use whatever detail spray I was...

    Choice to top WDGPS?

So, a while back I said I needed to post better photos in here. Found this thread when looking up trivia about Pinnacle SSII. This is my car with a fresh detail betfore our local BMW CCA spring drive. Two coats of WDGPS, still no topper. Please disregard the bugs on the front bumper, I was...

    stripping off klasse + 845

Claying and KAIO will remove what's on there now, and lay down a bit of sealant as a base for whatever you try next. When I used the KAIO/KSG with multiple layers, I found I could just vary the wax topper to get different (although very subtle) looks. I'd just wash thoroughly and go with a new...

    applying aio by hand

I use the same 3"x3" foam applicator to do the whole car....make it very very slightly damp, then just a light line of AIO diagonally, fold, and off you go. When you've done the whole car, lightly mist the applicator you used (without adding any more AIO), and wipe and immediately buff the...

    newbie, Klasse application questions

I use a foam applicator. You want so little KSG that it looks like it's evaporating into the paint as you apply it. If it's doing that, you know you've got it right. If you can see it haze, you're probably applying it too thick, and it will be a pain to get off. Another tip - it really truly...

8 years old wax question !!!

HAhahahahahaha - that would be awesome, you could package it in a cool old glass-looking bottle (not glass, obviously, so it wouldn't break). Vintage carnuba. Different years would end up with different ratings, since of course the carnuba harvest would have slight variations in appearance...

is klasse AIO required before sealant glaze?

It was an experiment - I had about 1/2 bottle of KSG gathering dust since I'm using other LSPs now. I remembered that there was discussion a long time ago about diluting KAIO or KSG and using it as a detail spray, so I figured I'd give it a shot with the KSG and use it after I wash the wheels...
