Check for a hole in the bottle or cap. It gets kinda rubbery when it dries around the cap so I suspect an air leak somewhere. Great product none the less.

When I use Dr. Colorchip, I use alcohol and Qtips to clean the damage before I apply the paint. You don't want wax/sealant in the chips or it will interfere with adhesion. I also allow a week before putting anything over the repair. I hope that helps and welcome.
