Good advice from Don. I highly recommend Menzerna FG400 as a compound (if needed), and SF4000 as a polish. They are user friendly and excellent. I would not recommend using Meguiars M105 as your compound. It is an excellent compound, but in my opinion, not at all user friendly for beginners.

I like the towel. I experienced too much marring with the disk.

Get the Flex. You will not be disappointed!

I started with the Porter Cable, moved up to the Griots, and now have a Flex. Now that I have the Flex, I would have a hard time going back as it is a significant improvement over the other two IMHO.

Scrape off and vacuum as much of it as possible (if not already wet), and then follow one or more of the procedures outlined above.

+1 This is my issue with using a machine. I don't want to reuse a pad used for applying sealant, and it can get a bit expensive to replace a pad made for a machine.

I own a 2014 Accord EX-L V6 - it's a fantastic car and quick. I have driven several current RAV4's as rental cars. You will appreciate the upgrade.

Your car does not single stage paint. It has a clear coat on it. A good combo if you need to compound and polish is Menzerna FG400 (compound) and SF4000 (polish). The FG400 finishes so well that on a white car, you might not need the SF4000 polish step. This is what I have used on my Alpine...

I agree with Bob. I have topped Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant 3.0 (WDGPS) with Fusion in the past and have found it offered little to no additional shine. WDGPS will give a great shine and offer long lasting protection on it's own. Fusion by itself is great but is not particularly durable.
