Traded with amnbcn. I'm very happy with product condition & shipping. Well packaged & in conditioned described. Would trade again hands down! :dblthumb2:
Great question; I ordered mine about a week ago and should receive it soon. I just checked xpel's website and they do not provide any information regarding UV protection. I called them and left a message; should hear from them soon I hope.
Just wanted to report that 845 saved my wifes daily driver this past weekend. Unfortunately, the car was "egged" over night. When I went to rinse and wash the car the following day, the egg came off with very little effort. It was really impressive! I've had egg dry on non-waxed cars before...
Well basically I had streaking issues with both Opti-Seal and Zaino CS. It seemed difficult to avoid that and I likely may have been using too much product. At any rate, I didn't encounter that issue with BFCS.
My car has recently been Clayed and Polished with a superb shine. It's a 2011...
Received my 4 oz bottle in the mail last week and finally had the opportunity to use it today, on my 2011 Audi A5. The paint is in relatively great shape, with no swirls etc. I did a full wash prior to the application, using Chemical Guys Citrus Wash and Gloss. Upon rinsing, I was content...
What I found that worked for me was soaking a Q-tip in a small amount of a Quick Detailer of choice and "running" the Q-tip along the edge. You'll have to use several of them, being that the Q-tip will quickly get saturated with dried wax and will have to use a clean end. But it works very well.
Nick,
I have a 2010 Audi R8 that has a clear polyurethane bra (clear protection pain film). My question is whether WGDPS 3.0 and BF Crystal Sealant are safe to use on the clear film.
I'm a big fan of WG and am quite pleased with it's durability on my wife's car. So, I want to start using it...
How long is it supposed to last, given worst case scenario for a daily driver (sun, rain, dirt, smog...)? Same as BF sealant, maybe 2-3 months?
thanks,
This brings up a very good question, and one that I've spent much time thinking about. I'm not a professional detailer; just an avid car enthusiast. However, after reading many posts and talking to different detailers here locally, they all agree that in order for a product (wax or sealant) to...
Absolutely one of the coolest detailing videos I've seen to date. Good job on the videography! Your jeep looks immaculate! I've been using Wolfgang Gang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant on my garage queen and my family cars with great success (I'd say about 6 months durability on my garaged Audi R8...
In your opinion, if using crystal seal alone, how often should it be applied to:
1. A daily driver exposed to the usual elements
2. A garage queen NEVER exposed to the elements
Question #3: Can crystal seal be safely applied to vehicles with clear protection film such as 3M venture shield...
I'm sure this is a great product and I definitely will give it a try, but I would like to see the results as compared to ONR on a car that has not been washed prior to using the product. I am considering switching to rinseless washing to conserve water resources. Will try both for now.
Actually, oxidation & yellowing were the initial reason why my dad used the 3M headlight kit. He got rid of the oxidation, but is one left with swirls.
Want to thank everyone for their input. I think I am going to go the M105/205 route with a bit more aggressive pad. Of course, I could always take it into a professional and have it repaired, but I might actually enjoy trying to restore my dads headlights back to original look. I am going to...
