Review: Wolfgang Deep Gloss Liquid Seal
Wolfgang Deep Gloss Liquid Seal 8 oz.

Big thanks to Autogeek and Nick for letting me try these new Wolfgang products ahead of the release. I really appreciate it :dblthumb2:

I recently washed the car with Iron X snow soap, and it’s been parked in the parking garage for the last 2 days. I gave the car a quick waterless wash and IPA wipe down.

Heres the car, Looks clean huh….guess again

Well there was tons of black dust from the construction going on downtown. I went with Blackfire Waterless and some plush towels (used about 10 or so).

After the waterless wash the car got a IPA wipe down, my IPA mix is about 20% IPA mixed with Megs D114.

First I primed the pad with 2 squirts and one per panel and spread it in a straight line motion. Here is a shot of the Wolfgang Flashing.

I was losing daylight so quickly took the car to the roof for some shots:

The shine is wet and deep. After curing for one hour the finish feels even slicker than after applying it.

These pictures don’t really do any justice to how awesome the Liquid Seal is; today I only applied one coat of it. I didn't have enough time to clean the windows or the wheels and tires. Tomorrow I will be cleaning the wheels with the New Wolfgang Uber Cleaner and will reapply another coat of liquid seal from top to bottom of the car(except the windshield applied GtechG1).

Even at the $29.99 price point this stuff is a amazing buy each bottle will give you about 45 application thats $.67 a application. :buffing:

At the current price of $21.99 grab it enjoy the wet dripping shine.Im the MAN

Feel free to ask questions and will get some morning shots soon.

Nice! I wonder how long it'll last?

Just a minor update: After raining all weekend I put my car in the garage yesterday, this afternoon I was expecting tons of dust attraction and it was very minimal. Tomorow I will apply a 2nd coat

Gotta love morning dew

Sealant has been fairly well at deterring dust too.

I love to see white shine like that, everyone always posts photos of Black Cars myself included since that is all I own but love to see white glow!

I agree, I really love showing off my black car also. But when white is clean and shiny I personally think its just as classy.

I know what you mean. After applying WG DGLS, I took tons of pictures from every angle with every setting on my camera and was never really happy how they turned out. Seeing the gloss in person is much better.

Great review btw!

Awesome review. I can't wait to get home and try this out!

How long is it supposed to last, given worst case scenario for a daily driver (sun, rain, dirt, smog...)? Same as BF sealant, maybe 2-3 months?

thanks,

thanks,

I was goin to say 3 to 4 month minimum. My white TL is outside 24/7 survived 3 days of straight rain from sandy, and snow for 2 days. And still beads like a champ. Before I did WGDGLS I striped the car and only LSP Is one coat of it. I have been observing and been happy so far.

Surving Sandy and week of rain after snow and salt for 3 days straight...

I have not used any boosters, QD, or spray waxes... I am really happy with deep gloss seal. Look like this will be torture tested this winter..

Surface is still fairly slick... And remeber when I applied this it was after a quick IPA and just one coat at end of September.
