Applying Carnuba Wax on top of Collinite 845

My go-to order is usually the following: - CG Blacklight or KAIO - Collinite 845 - Dodo Creme Egg or WG Fuzion The key is proper wait time(s). Blacklight needs 30 min. and Collie 845 needs 12 to 24 hours... ...then top away. :buffing:

    Can we talk honestly

I employed (or thought of employing) many of the methods discussed in this thread...then came DAVE. My wife has our entire family drinking the Dave Ramsey kool aid and thus - with the envelope system of spending (look it up) - I must now budget my AutoGeek purchases far in advance. Oh well, I...

    GTechniq C-4 Permanent Trim Restorer

I applied C4 to my 2009 CR-V trim (DD; sits outside 24/7/365) about a month ago. Having spent $60 on this product, I took extra precaution to ensure that I was using it the correct way. I pulled every YouTube video I could find and scoured every forum on the Internet before I started. Long...

    Wolfgang Füzion Estate Wax Review

First - great review! I just purchased Fuzion via the Cyber Tuesday special; I will bookmark this review so I can re-read before first application. Second - I, too, have a CR-V LX at the house. What - may I ask - are you using on the trim?

    Review: CarPro PERL

Let me start by saying that I absolutely love PERL for interior uses (and I will continue to use in this capacity). Unfortunately, I have been disappointed by its durability on exterior trim. Given, I have a DD that sits un-garaged 24/7/365 - my experiences have led me to believe PERL's...

Getting ready for my next detail - Need your advice

Did you end up using both Klasse AIO and the Blacklight? How did it work? :buffing:

Fellow detailers...what is your favorite part and least favorite part of the detail?

    Chemical guys - Black Light

To the posters original question: Yes, you are going to want to top CG Blacklight with an LSP. My go-to formula is Dodo Born to Be Mild wash, CG Blacklight, then Collinite 845. You won't be disappointed!

Cobra finally got it's detail! (pics)

Looks great! Mind if I ask what size/brand that canopy is?

If you could only use one brand...

From start to finish - for me - it would be Chemical Guys.
