Wolfgang Product Line Question & Answer

Thanks for the info on the paint prep products, I thought they were for coatings. I just applied Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant 3.0 and I can't believe how smooth and slick the paint feels. I have to stop myself from going out in garage and caressing my truck. lol What is the most damaging...

Car Paint restoration step #2 : Meguiars Ultimate Compound Review

I finally got around to trying this product out and I am really impressed. My vehicle is a white 95 Bronco with some pretty bad scratches/scuffs. I used Meg's UC with Buff and Shine Microfiber Cutting Pads and my PC 7424XP, that combo removed 80-90% of the defects. There were a couple of bad...

    Mysterious disappearing coolant...

If you are sure you can't find a leak then you need to check your oil to make sure it's not contaminated. Google "coolant in oil" and you should get some results on how to do this.

3" Pad Solution for PC 7424

I've read that changing the counterweight isn't necessary when polishing, only when using the PC as a sander. Does that change with a 3" backing plate?

? About WolfGang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant

The directions on my bottle say to just let it dry to a haze, the directions on the product page say to let it dry 30-45 minutes. I wonder why the difference?

    HD Speed Question

I've read that you should let HD Speed cure like a sealant before buffing, doing that is supposed to produce long lasting protection. The directions on the bottle say nothing about that though.

Meguiar's D114 Rinsefree Express Wash Is Discontinued

I tested ONR on the interior of my old Bronco, it had years of dirt built up from camping and dog hauling. I used 1 bucket, 3 gallons of water with 1.5 oz of ONR, a wash mitt, and drying towels. It took off 95% of the dirt from the vinyl floors, then I dipped a microfiber towel in the filthy...

Looking for opinions on some new MF's

Thanks for the tips, the ice cube helped a little bit. I sprayed some APC on them, let them sit and then washed. Most of it came off and what was left was soft and easier to work out. With a toothpick and a lot of patience I think I salvaged them. Lesson learned! Thanks!

Looking for opinions on some new MF's

I'm not sure what happened but after the wash the stickers were gone and there is small amounts of sticky residue left behind. I was able to remove most of it with a toothpick but some of it is really deep.

Looking for opinions on some new MF's

I received some Gold Plush XL towels but forgot to remove the tags before washing, I usually just rip them off when I'm folding them. I didn't know these were glued on! Does anyone know how to get the glue residue out or did I just ruin my towels?

Car Paint restoration step #2 : Meguiars Ultimate Compound Review

Thanks for the video! Did you have any problems removing the product? I have a bottle of Meg's Ultimate compound in my garage that I have been debating using over some of the more expensive alternatives. Maybe someone could explain the price differences. For instance, 15.2 oz of Meg's UC...

Pictures: 1993 Ford Explorer Extreme Makeover Featuring McKee's 37

Re: Sign up: Detailing class on how to bring a 1993 Ford Explorer back to life! The Explorer looks great! I achieved similar results on my Bronco with a PC-XP, HD Speed and green flat pads. Nice and shiny but up close I can still see scratches and there were a few deep scuff marks that didn't...
