Bumblebee - Testing out the NEW DeWALT DWP849X

I agree with a guy needs a heavy and a light rotary. My kids got me a Festool Shine-X a while back. It weighs only 4.2 pounds and is magnificent with 5.25" pads. Jewelling is a breeze with it.

    My first Opti-coat experience....

IME this applicator works great for OC Pro. The neoprene side does not absorb product. I NEVER use the foam side of this applicator.

I agree but recommend CQUARTZ UK for a product that is more proven and very easy to use.

    Tips on M101?

It was originally made to use on a rotary Megs SOLO BP with the Megs Foam pads. I think it is more versatile than that designed purpose. I think it will cut faster.

Which WW is best for the buck?

UWW+ is $3.50 a gallon. 3 ounces makes a gallon. Others make a gallon with a quart ~ $10 a gallon. UWW+ is the the best performer at any price IME!

    3 gallon bucket?

Lowes has great 3 gallon translucent buckets with foam rubber handles. They take a grit guard and a gamma seal with no problems. I love these for rinseless washes.

Edging the DA... A Game Changer

I have used the fantastic KB BPs (both) with the new 3rd Gen GG with stunning results. Edging is a true game changer with a DA. I also have the DynaBrade DA converter for rotaries. It has a 3/4" throw and much much more power than a RUPES. BTW I use the edging method only for deeper defects...

Review: Ultima Waterless Wash Plus (UWW+)

If you bought a gallon of UWW+ for $100, it would make 42 gallons of WW or 484 gallons of RW. This is crazy cheap and the best WW I have used. I haven't tried Gary Dean's but I am sure it is good.

Rinseless Wash Thoughts -- Feedback Wanted

Me too. IME nothing approaches Ultima WW+ for the pre-soak. ONR or UWW+ at rinseless strength are my favorite rinseless washes. . I only use products with NO nubaa.

Rinseless Wash Thoughts -- Feedback Wanted

I use Ultima Waterless in a 2 gallon garden pump sprayer to pre-soak before any wash, traditional or rinseless. Any kind of pre-soak will do good things. At $3.50 a gallon, UWW+ is a cheap and great way to go.
