    Machine Apply Wax w/Rupes?

I totally agree and that is one of the reasons I went with the Rupes system. A system that has been proven by some of the top names is enough to entice me into making my life easier with good quality products. Yes I will use some other products as well, but for the hardware, if it work and...

I will. Just bummed out by the weather as I am dying to detail!

    Look what showed up today!

I just wish the weather would have been better tomorrow so I could have gotten outside and tried some of the product.

    Look what showed up today!

Well I finally pulled the trigger on my big order and I am pretty excited to start using. Bad news is it is supposed to rain tomorrow and I don't have a big enough garage to detail just inside. Two boxes The bigger picture I also did the washer mod right out of the box. Here you go...

I just bought the Rupes MF pads so we will see.

    Machine Apply Wax w/Rupes?

Looks like the throw of the Rupes is a megs pad eater. Makes sense but I wouldn't have thought that until I saw the pics. That thing is a beast.

    Confused about sealants

From what I understand WG DGLS need to be applied to a suface clean of wax or LSP to ensure bonding to the paint surface. Opti-seal on the other hand dissolves the wax to ensure bonding to the surface. In my mind this is what sets Optimum apart, they continually engineer fantastic products...

    Machine Apply Wax w/Rupes?

No worries Kamakaz, I thought it was weird to how they used white for a finishing pad too, but I guess everyone makes their own way and they have made a system out of it. Their white capped polish is their ultra fine polish and the white foam pad is a finishing pad. Taken right from...

I saw the android app on the playstore. Downloaded it and it doesn't seem to work. What is it for?

    Megs would be fine too.
  12. Q

    Rupes 15 or 21

I went through this recently and all signs pointed to 21. The thing to remember is with the 21 you can use pads with 5" and 6" backings pads (when you buy the 5" backing plate) and with the 75 you can use pads with 3"+ backings (working surface, I know the backing plates are 3", 5" & 6"). So...

    Machine Apply Wax w/Rupes?

Use the white finishing pad for your wax/sealant application. Again really slow speeds 1-3 and go nuts!

The right Rupes for me? Duetto or 21?

I read a lot about people using the Rupes Zephyr (Blue lid compound) with either yellow or green pads to get a better cut. I have also read many people using MF pads with the rupes and having very good results too. I will have to try the different combinations.

Can someone measure a Rupes 21 for me?

Thats what I thought. I found a site that says 17" but I knew they did not include the strain relief. 19" leaves me with the rupes bag or the BF/Autogeek detailer professional bags. I was hoping to use the Autogeek detailer bag because I love the little compartment underneath for pads and what...

Can someone measure a Rupes 21 for me?

You do make a good point about the marketing. I just know sometimes a competitors item might fit the needs a little better. Just looking for experience from someone who has more than the rupes bag and it looks like your post with the video seals the deal!

Can someone measure a Rupes 21 for me?

Sorry, forgot to mention that I am not fond of spending $99.99 for a bag when really from what I can tell, I can get a bag just as good for $49-$59. That leaves me with $40 for more product, pads, accessories. Anyone have any experience with a non Rupes bag for the Rupes line? I have also read...

Can someone measure a Rupes 21 for me?

I am looking at purchasing a bag for my Rupes. I want the following bag but it is 17" long and I am not sure the Rupes will fit. Autogeek Detailer's Bag, detailing bag, detailing supplies bag, storage bag, tool box, buffer bag, car care organizer, buffing pads organizer But I might need this...
  19. Q

A comparison of detailing bags (Rupes, Autopia, Blackfire)

I am guessing for a rupes 21 I will need the autogeek professional detail bag as it is 21" long opposed to 17" wide for the regular detail bag. The rupes bag is 19" wide, but $100 for a bag is extreme.
