Machine Apply Wax w/Rupes?

Found my test with the Megs pads:

Here is the pad after three section passes:

Damn and I even read that some guys can get by with Meg's pads.

Which of Rupes 4 pads are closest to Meg's 3 pads in terms of cutting ability?

I would get:

White Finishing Pad
Yellow Polishing Pad
Green Light Cutting Pad

Looks like the throw of the Rupes is a megs pad eater. Makes sense but I wouldn't have thought that until I saw the pics. That thing is a beast.

I read great comments regarding Meguiar's MF discs with Rupes.

Nice acquisition mate, I don't own a Rupes, but reading here their own pads looks the way to go on their system.

It's not that other pads won't work, however stick if what works better would be my choice.

Kind Regards.

I totally agree and that is one of the reasons I went with the Rupes system. A system that has been proven by some of the top names is enough to entice me into making my life easier with good quality products. Yes I will use some other products as well, but for the hardware, if it work and works well, I am always a fan of that. It might cost more, but if it makes my life easier and detailing more enjoyable, it is worth every penny!

My old 7424 is just not giving me the results I desire in the time I want it too.

Can you, OP, apply wax w/RUPES' large throw-polishers?
Perhaps.

But there's probably a daggone good reason it is called:
"The RUPES Polishing System"...

Not: "The RUPES Waxing System". :)

I see a lot of bogging down when running a Rupe's at waxing speed - except for the Mini.

I was just pondering this, when Mike Phillips posted the thread about the recent go 'round with the Rupes system.

I don't have one of the massive throw machines. Maybe I'll try later tonight with a red ccs, or Hex Logic on the shower tiles with the duetto. Winter is no fun for a garage less, enthusiast...
