I gotta give mad props to Meghan and Autogeek!

Brushes for the electric motor. To change them you remove the screw on the back of the machine and slide the cover off. Im pretty sure those ones are held in by two springs inside the machine.

Buying, polishing, and reselling aluminum rims...

I think there is a Harbor Freight near you. Go there and get an aluminum polishing kit. They have a bunch of felt bobs and come with 3 sticks of rouge. If done correctly you can get them to look like a mirror.

Where/How did you learn to detail?

Started on my own back when I was 16 or 17. Kept my vehicles "clean" until I was about 22, then I started polishing my rides by machine. A few years back I met RickRack and RyDawg, they have taught me more than I ever cared to know. Now I work with them on a daily basis, its a great...

    DP Krystal Vision Glass Cleaner??

The meg's detailer line is still the best glass cleaner I have used. I have tried a lot of types. The DP stuff did seem to streak a bit, it was a freebie from AG so I can't complain there. The invisible glass with rain repellent works great to boost aquapel on the windsheild also.

Door Trim - Everything sticks to it

Good luck, its not just you, every GM that comes into our shop has the same issue with the trim. You can try to clay it and polish it carefully since the fake chrome will wrinkle. Best bet is to just remove it all together.
