    Need A Few Tips Please

:iagree: I have the flex 3401 and the 6.5" pads are perfect with the standard backing plate. opinions on which type of pad differ but i've been using the 6.5" LC CCS pads and have had good luck with them. You can never have too many pads but on an average sized car I usually use 2 pads of...

    Need Engine Cleaner Recommendations

I usually use Megs APC+ to maintain the engine bay on my classics.

    Best Cleaner/Wax

whenever you ask opinions on "what's the best" regarding ANYTHING, you are going to get a million different answers, all dependent on who answers you and what product THAT responder likes themselves. Probably 99% of any answers you get won't give you an actual "THE BEST" based on any objective...

    Prices and Products???

as already mentioned, look at the larger container sizes as it makes it more cost effective. I buy almost all my products in gallon sizes, some I'm going to start buying in 5-gallon sizes. The Megs Pro line comes in larger sizes as do the Megs Detailer line. Megs Detailer line in particular not...

just got some megs 105, im lost

that makes no sense, the Megs M105 is a MUCH more aggressive cut than the SIP. The M105 should easily be taking out defects that the SIP couldn't touch. What EXACTLY was the procedure you used? How did you apply the M105? What speed on the PC? How much pressure were you applying and how many...

    Detail Challange

:iagree: works very well for a one-step product! I use the D151 with my Flex 3401 and usually with the white LC CCS pad. The cut power is the same as the Megs 205 polish for minor swirls, etc plus of course you have the wax already in it.

    1-step polish?

for cars that I'm not multi-stepping (clay, compound, polish, wax) and need a true one-step product after wash I've been really happy with the Megs D151 Reconditioning Cream which is really a polish/wax in one step. The polish cutting level is the same as M205 if i'm not mistaken so gives you a...

    Is it true that...

sorry if you misunderstood, I was in NO WAY attacking your preference of product. In fact, while I have only used one Menzerna product I have no doubts Menzerna makes excellent products from their reputation. Again, I will agree that anyone should be careful with M105 because of it's high...

    Is it true that...

hearsay from a 3rd party... well, i'll always take that with a grain of salt. On the other hand, M105 IS a huge cutting power of a compound, the highest in the Megs line-up plus it's in their Professional line so it's actually marketied to body shops, not consumers. Detailing enthusiasts know...

Why are Autogeek's CCS Pads in wrong order?

ahhh, I was wondering about the green pad myself since AG lists to two different green pads and other suppliers only list one green pad. So the course green pad is the "standard" LC green pad and the softer green pad is only available through AG??

    M105 question

isn't it amazing? M105 has such a strong cutting power yet finishes down so nicely. Half the time i've used it so far I look at how it finished down and wonder why I'm going to bother with the M205 step! It's already finished down so close to LSP ready. Honestly, I think only a real anal...

    Is it true that...

true, with the M105 and M205 the abrasives don't break down. They keep working until you stop working the product. With the M105/M205 if you worked it on the surface for a minute, an hour, or a day, it's still going to be cutting since the abrasives themselves aren't breaking down. The one...

    Meguires 105 compound

I've used M105/M205 on a number of vehicles now with my Flex 3401. M105 can finish down very close to LSP ready but the M205 really puts the finishing touch on it and it recommended after using the M105. It is pretty amazing though how well and to the degree the M105 finishes down so close to...

    Best one-step product?

I didn't know about this product. Looked it up after reading your post. Looks similar, at least in use, to the Megs D151. It it somewhat more expensive though - 12oz or $16 vs 1 gallon for $35 for the Megs but if it works well than so be it. Since it comes in a small 12 oz size maybe i'll order...

    Best one-step product?

why suggest topping another sealant over the XMT360? If it really needs that added step taken than it's not really a one-step product and I might as well just use polishes and waxes/sealants I already have but that defeats the idea of a one-step product.

    Best one-step product?

well, it seems that the Klasse AIO & Megs D151 have the most votes. Considering that you guys say that the Klasse doesn't really have any cutting or cleaning power to it it doesn't seem to fit the purpose I'm looking for. I think I'll give the D151 a try. I read up on it and it sounds pretty...

    Best one-step product?

I do a lot of cars for friends and family plus others that people refer to me. Obviously not every car needs nor every person wants to spend the money for me to multi-step their exteriors (such as clay, polish, wax, or clay, compound, polish, wax, etc). While some cars really don't need...

    All Purpose Cleaner Opinions

I use Megs APC as my general purpose cleaner - works very well. I also use Simple Green, Purple Power, and Megs Super Degreaser for more heavy duty cleaning and more greasy type areas like engine bays, filthy door jamb hinges, etc

    stubborn wheels won't clean up

well, that's two votes for the Megs Wheel Brightner. I don't have that product so it will have to wait until my next order of product and i'll order up some to try out.
