Best one-step product?

I do a lot of cars for friends and family plus others that people refer to me.
Obviously not every car needs nor every person wants to spend the money for me to multi-step their exteriors (such as clay, polish, wax, or clay, compound, polish, wax, etc).
While some cars really don't need multi-step process most cars from people I know do as they tend to not really take care of their cars well and are not cleaning or detailing fanatics.
I really dislike having to JUST wash than put a coat of wax on a car when I know it really needs more attention. Granted, everyone is usually thrilled simply that their car is clean and shiny and they didn't have to do it but I would like to at least do the best I can on these cars within the limitation of only being able to do one step.
I've been using the Megs #6 Cleaner Wax on these cars to at least try to clean up the paint a bit while waxing but was wondering if there was anything else that may be more effective or work better as a one-step product.
Hey, if #6 is my best choice than so be it, but figured it was worth asking to see if there are better alternatives.

BTW, if it matters, I use a Flex 3401 DA with the 6.5" LC CCS pads so a product that is DA approved would be preferable.

Thanks for any suggestions or recommendations

Well, for me, i think you can go with the klasse AIO, or DG501, both of which have worked for me and give good results for customers whom dont really want to spend alot, but want a good shine.

I like both Optimum Poli-Seal and Klasse All-In-One, neither has much cutting or cleaning ability but both leave behind a great long lasting shine and protection. I will almost always top either with another sealant or wax, and usually use a dedicated polish beforehand. I have not tried any other AIO products though so I can't compare them to the rest.

poli-seal would get my vote...especially for the price. I like DG105 too but I don't use it as much as poli-seal.

well, it seems that the Klasse AIO & Megs D151 have the most votes. Considering that you guys say that the Klasse doesn't really have any cutting or cleaning power to it it doesn't seem to fit the purpose I'm looking for.

I think I'll give the D151 a try. I read up on it and it sounds pretty neat - has both cutting power and ability to finish down really nice plus waxing all in one step. I'll order some up on my next supplies order and give it a trial.

I can't believe nobody has mentioned XMT 360. That is a terrific one step product that does a great job on oxidation and light swirls. Here is a good example on this A4.

That's with just a PC and a blue edge 2000 pad and XMT360. It is a really good one step product. And not only is it DA approved, it is DA designed! XMT products are designed for machine use.

you beat me to it......

i have and use both xmt 360 and poliseal....i think xmt 360 will correct a bit better then poliseal....but i would suggest topping both with a synthetic sealant....for added durability

why suggest topping another sealant over the XMT360? If it really needs that added step taken than it's not really a one-step product and I might as well just use polishes and waxes/sealants I already have but that defeats the idea of a one-step product.

I didn't know about this product. Looked it up after reading your post.
Looks similar, at least in use, to the Megs D151. It it somewhat more expensive though - 12oz or $16 vs 1 gallon for $35 for the Megs but if it works well than so be it.
Since it comes in a small 12 oz size maybe i'll order up one bottle on the next order along with the Megs D151 and compare them

XMT 360 is a great one step...Finsh it with XMT Carnuaba Finishing Glaze...What a great combo. The best glaze I have ever used and it smells great too...:D

That is where the Professional line of products is different from the Enthusiast line of products. The Professional lines are going to give you industrial size quantities and make it available everywhere. Enthusiasts don't typically need a gallon of any product except for maybe QD or car wash, so it doesn't make sense to sell it in larger size bottles. If you were trying to run a business and went through a couple gallons of this stuff a week, then obviously you wouldn't buy it by the small 12oz bottle. lol However, if you are an enthusiast who is just looking for something to care for the occasional relative or friend's vehicle, then that is what most of the products you see discussed around here are for. Professionals just need higher volumes of products and that is what companies like Meguiar's are good for. :)

I will say that most of the time, in my experience anyway, the quality of the Enthusiast grade products will kick the crap out of anything you buy in industrial quantities. I use some professional line products that I simply can't afford to stock up on the enthusiast line of, but the majority of my appearance products are all Enthusiast grade. That is a huge selling point for my business. I use the top shelf products on all the cars I detail compared to someone who just uses a gallon of generic carnauba wax that he got on the clearance shelf at WalMart. ;) It has done well for me to offer products like Wolfgang, Pinnacle, and Zaino to my high end customers who are familiar with those brand names and know what they are capable of. Nobody I know with six figure cars is going to be impressed with a detailer who shows up with a couple ketchup bottles filled with generic products that produce generic results. ;) I always tell my customers that the price I charge is in part due to the value my service creates in their car. When they are as satisfied with the appearance as they are when I use the high end products, they don't mind paying a higher price. Enthusiasts can tell the difference when you cut corners.
