I'm a HUGE fan of Power Lock. It's my favorite LSP. That said, I've often topped it with Menz CL on my black Shelby. Not sure it added any depth or shine. I guess as summer goes along I add a coat of CL to freshen it up before a show.
I apply Poxy with a hand applicator, mostly because of my complete inability to clean sealants (Menz PL) out of my LC foam pads. I put it on as thin as I can, give it 30-45 min & wipe it off. Comes off really easy for me.
This is my 2nd time using it. I was just looking on another site that sells HD, & it says to use 6-8 pea-sized drops. I was also using my 21mm long throw machine. Might try with my PC next.
Starting the Shelby with all HD. Had some issues with Adapt. Had a few areas where it seemed to gum up on the paint & was extremely difficult to wipe off. Not sure if I had too much on the pad or not enough. I put 3 or 4 pea sized drops on at 1st. Any HD vets here feel free to chime in.
Anyway...
When I was stationed in Norfolk, Va the pollen was awful for about 3 weeks in late March/early April. I'd wash my black T-bird & I would be turning yellow again before I got it dry. Ended up just living with it until it was over.
Good info, David, & thanx. I'd seen a review somewhere where the user said to spray it on a towel to apply. I'll definitely give it & your other recommendation a shot.
I really like everything of theirs I've tried thus far. I've got Cut, Polish, Adapt, Poxy & Express. Going to order Touch soon. Never been an AIO guy, but I'll probably get a bottle of Speed here pretty soon.
Been wanting to try Express since I got a bottle for Xmas. So since Indiana winter took a brief hiatus this weekend, I thought I'd give it a tryout. My daily driver Fusion was detailed last October with HD Polish & Poxy. All I did yesterday was wash it & apply Express. No correction or...
I use the Mother's clay kits. Once the QD runs out I fill the bottle w/water & add a few drops of car wash soap, usually Poorboy's Super Slick n Suds. Been doing it that way for years.
Guess I'm going to have to get some Speed. I see you're in Va Beach. Spent my last 10 yrs in the Navy there before I retired in '07. Love it out there & hope to move back someday.
