how to remove baked on wheek brake dust and grime!

Sounds like you have some tough wheels to get clean. I had the same experience recently...the most hideous wheels I've ever done. I used Sonax wheel cleaner followed by Meg's Hot Rims Wheel Cleaner. Here is a link to the process I went through. I think if Sonax and Megs Hot Rims can do what...

    Detailed My Engine Compartment

Great looking work with the engine bay! I love a clean engine. Most normal people (not Autogeek's :)), don't bother with their engine bays and I always hate opening up the bonnet and seeing filthy engine. How well does PB's Black Hole and EX-P hole up under the surronding engine bay heat? How...

Clean up at cruise night question

Black Car, the original post asked what product we used, we've suggested what we used. Since Black Car we don't know what he was using (it was not posted), heck maybe it was even ONR or Ultima or even Poorboy's. Most of the time if your getting streaking your either using to much product or...

    Having trouble with over spray.

I would/do use Iron-X before, then follow with clay. No sense in claying first when Iron-X will remove that easier for you. Then follow with claying. Lets work smarter, not harder.

    Having trouble with over spray.

You bet, try somone Iron-X see what happens. Sorry about the misunderstanding...I'm more tired than I thought. I'm off to bed PS: To OP - you said you've machined polished, did you try clay? If not I would try claying if you haven't or if you have some Iron-X start with that then clay.

    Having trouble with over spray.

True, yes we still are claying first - should have made that point. Sometimes thou with clay you need a tougher clay to remove the fallout. Although, once I did find out that clay wouldn't work and had to use a Diamondite product. Diamondite Spray Clay™ is formulated to remove embedded...

    Having trouble with over spray.

I would have to agree with everyone on the clay first, the a good polish. Although, to me on the second photo the overspray looks like a rust color. We are sure its overspray and not rail dust (industrial fallout) by chance - just wondering.
