Every time I see this happen, I chuckle at it. How about the people that put their favorite football team flag rolled up in their window? That flag is whipping in the wind and popping that paint. Can't tell you how many cars I've detailed with marred paint from those flags. Just remember...

Extended Cab F150 here. I much prefer detailing my altima. Although, it's true that "it's easy to bathe a clean truck". I clean it weekly w/ Meg's. Dry w/ squeegee and waffle weeve. I polished it recently to get 95% of the scratches out, but I have no desire to keep a show car finish.

I'm no pro, but I'd recommend Collinite 845. It's a solid wax for $16. Just remember, that your cleaning/prepping process is just as important. What processes/products are you currently using?

I think I would've tried 5.5" pads and a pair of $30 ergo vibration reduction gloves before I returned it. All machines will have some form of vibration.

Read each one of those articles if you have the time. I can't tell you how many hours I put in to it. Also, if you read them quickly, you can get a game plan together and pick up some good deals on the 9 days of Christmas Sale that are left.

Nice. I did not know about that website. I went LED 3 years ago with GE Icycles from SEARS. (about $15 each). This year is the first year I had any problems - 2 strands partially out. I love the LEDs though and will never go back. Great looking house!
