    Aggressiveness of clay bar?

I was just thinking this question to myself yesterday.

Good cleaner wax for my MB

845 looks amazing on white, especially if it has flake or pearl in it!

    Road Paint!

I'd love to goto the County website for where to send the bill for the stuff I need to buy to take it off! Why don't they ever put up a sign that says "Freshly painted lines." I'm gonna say it's not epoxy based and is already a bit diluted down it looks like. I was worried about ammonia...

    Road Paint!

That would something to see come winter time, but this car will be tucked away in storage all winter. I'd hate to let it sit on there for 6 months and wanna remove it ASAP. I'll have to try some WD40.

    03 Mustang Cobra Correction

Great job! I've got the same license plate problem on my Cobra! I'll have to look into the foam bumpers! I can't wait until fall to get mine up on stands and really clean the paint up.

    Road Paint!

Must've caught either some not-quite-dry road paint or washed off watered down paint, but I got it EVERYWHERE on my Cobra. I've removed most of it from my paint, but my main problem is in the wheel wells. My front fender wells now have a white/gray color to them because they're covered with...

    Wax poll

I've been a big fan of the ease of use and longevity of #845.

    Headlight Restortions

I will have to snap some pics of them... I also might not be getting enough power/heat with the PC, may need to source a rotary.

    Rocker Correction Question

What about removing them, fixing the scuff, then having them sprayed a satin black? Like trim?

    Headlight Restortions

Looks great man! I followed your same process (almost to a T) and didn't get quite the same results on my Mustang lights. I used: 320 wet 600 wet 800 wet 1000 wet 1500 wet m105/ Yellow CCS m205/ Orange CCS I'm thinking I may need that 2500 and another step of polishing.

    Polishing aluminum and chrome

The pics look great. Can you recommend a product for polishing stainless (I was going to go with Nevr-Dul), as well as the inside of exhaust tips where the black exhaust buildup forms?

    Headlight restoration 50/50.

Wow, that looks amazing. I might have to attempt this with my Mustang headlights which are victims of hazing in the Texas sun!

    1998 Lexus ES300 (Ongoing Thread)

I thought about getting into it with a Q-tip and trim stuff, but it almost looks like it's got the same patina on it from new, it's hard to tell in pics. I'm not sure how it would look shiny. Maybe I'll hit it with a test spot. May work on it some more this weekend and I'll show you guys my...

    1998 Lexus ES300 (Ongoing Thread)

I have 303 to "condition" the leather, if you will, but I will probably look into something a little better specifically for leather. I have some Lexol laying around somewhere. As far as the deodorizing goes, I was thinking of steaming the headliner, but I'll also check out the other options...

    1998 Lexus ES300 (Ongoing Thread)

I marked this as ongoing because I will be working on it in the evenings after work, unless I get few more hrs free on the weekend. This is my mother's car, a 1998 Lexus ES300, with around 75,000 original miles. It was repainted about 2-3 years ago after a tree fell on it (yes, really) and...

    Wetsand and Buff pictures

Looks really good. I agree 2000 musta took a while. I usually start at 1200 and go from there.

SHINE IT LIKE YOU MEAN IT! Shelby Cobra meets the Microfiber DA system!

Wow, those are some amazing results and they show you have a lot of experience and trust in your work. As the owner of the car if I seen it dulled out I probably would have crapped myself. Excellent job, I'm amazed at how rough the finish was from factory.
