    Dodo Juice: PRO or no?

the standard 'core 8' are a little more user friendly than the Pro versions, and smell a little nicer, but you really won't go wrong either way. they're all fantastic waxes

    Okay, what is this?!

If the car is under warranty, don't mess about with it, just take it back and show then that there is a fault. And get a signed report, with only a month left you want something in writing to say that it was reported within the warranty timeframe. If it's not polishing out, and god knows you've...

    Claying with Water Only!?

I use DJ born slippy. It's a superb lube, very economical if you buy the concentrate, and free rinsing. I wouldn't like to clay without lube tbh. Lol @ genesis coupe :laughing::laughing:

    Paint Thickness Gauge

Paint gauges are an interesting quandary really. I spend £300 on one and they still say it's only accurate to within 10 microns. Add to that the fact that ambient temperature will cause the paint to expand or contract depending on whether it's a hot or cold day. Then throw into the mix the fact...

    Leather cleaning debate

I've handled both brushes, i wouldn't say I've used them. I think they're both overpriced so didn't buy either of them. i also deal with a significant amount of 'old' leather, so prefer to use a slightly softer, more forgiving brush. that way you reduce the amount of wear caused by cleaning...

    Is a Glaze really Important???

just as a matter of interest, one thing you do need to be careful of when using glazes is UV damaged paint. reds and blacks in particular can end up looking extremely patchy as a result of some areas absorbing the glaze more than others. i had an absolute mare with a 1988 Audi Quattro just...

Did i order/get the wrong gilmour gun?

they're about as much use as a chocolate teapot in my honest opinion. if you're gonna foam, buy a decent attachment for your pressure washer. the foam lances that fit onto a hosepipe just aren't in the same league. i gave away the one i bought a couple of years ago
