    My First Headlight Restoration

Looks like you need a finer polish and/or pad combo to finish it off. What were you using before and how many passes did you make? Also, don't forget to seal those things when you get done so the haze doesn't come back.

    5.5 or 6.5 CCW

I got the 5.5 pads for my first time with the pc and they worked great. I used them with the 5in backing plate and i didnt have a single problem with the backing place getting near the paint. This was on a 99 firebird so i had plenty of curves also. I will be getting the 4 for smaller places...

    Sealants then Wax

Im not sure about the wolfgang sealant bonding to the xmt glaze. If i was you i would use a finer polish to remove all the micro marring instead of hiding it with the glaze. Then use the wolfgang followed by the pinnacle after a 12 hour cure time. For your other question i believe it will...

    What Speed?

I will be buying some 4" pads during the next sale. Im glad to know this because i would hate to have ruined them. So you suggest going with speed 5 and everything should be fine. On speed 5 will they 4'' still cut better than the 5.5'' on speed 6?

    Help with Mirror Glaze Polishes

Im not familiar with megs products so i cant give you a complete answer but as far as the xmt 360 goes im guessing you meant xmt 180 since 360 is a polish and would remove the sealent.

Need help with PC and TSR 3.0

Alright guys. I have an update. I decided to give the tsr and orange pad one more shot. I took it and applied at least twice the pressure i was before and worked it extremely slowly until there was virtually nothing left. After 2 passes I am happy to say almost everything was removed except...

Need help with PC and TSR 3.0

I will. Thank you for the advice. I have been wondering all night if maybe i wasnt breaking the polish down all the way. I sure thought i was but maybe i will let it go a little longer just to see what happens. Before i would stop shortly after it began to make the ripples with the polish...

    Wax process O.K ?

Just remember that souveran is a wipe on wipe off wax. There is no need to let it haze. I find it so easy and actually enjoyable to do it by hand. Just apply to one panel at a time and remove once you have completely covered the panel.

    Newb with purchase selection

I recently bought a PC and the 5.5 in pads. I would recomend getting the 4in pads or at least one of each kind you will be using in the 4in size. They will come in hand with tight spots and curves. Im currently working on a 99 firebird so i know about the tight places and curves part... Lol.
