    New PC

I'm still following this thread because today I purchased a PC and polishes. I'm still on hold regarding, which pads to purchase (Edge 2k 6" vs Lake County 6.5"). If one of you decide to throw in the towel and buy the other that could gives us the answer. How about starting a new thread...

Site for Red Mooze Machine Glaze & FPII

Hello, Does anybody know of a website where the sell both ClearKote Red Mooze Machine Glaze and Menzerna FPII. AG doesn't seem to carry them. Rest of my products I'm purchasing from AG. Tying not to get hit for shipping charges 3 times.

    New PC

I just pulled this out of the detail manual. Maybe this will help. Rotary buffers have a straight drive to the polishing head, whereas dual-action polishers have special drive head that causes the polish disk to run in an orbital pattern while also rotating. It has to rotate to be working...

    Can a PC correct this?

Thanks for the reponses. I'm glad you guys think they can come out. I can't fill any of them with my fingers. I had posted these same pics on another forum and they all said WOW you are going to have to work your ass off and use the strongest stuff out there like Merenza Power Gloss to remove...

    Can a PC correct this?

Hello Newbie, can this be corrected with a PC. What correction rate % will I achieve? I don't care if it is easier with a rotary or I'll get better results because I not about to try it with a rotary. Take a look at the 2rd pic (front passenger door). It looked like the other 2 pics before...

    New PC

This thread is kinda laughable. Of course the PC has to rotary. Yes, it is not measured in RPM (Rotations per minute) but instead in OPM(Orbits per minute). It rotates (spins) and also moves a little back and forth that's why is called a dual action buffer. 2 motions instead of 1 motion...

    ? on selecting qualified detailer

I plan on doing that for the back half of vehicle but the front clip is being paid for. It also makes a good opporunity to see who can do a better job (a profession or a newbie with a PC)

Aggressiveness, which one first (Pad or Polish)

I guess my real concern was once I had to move past the Edge 2k Green pad (Med cut) and SSR2.5 (heavy polish) to the Edge 2k Orange (cut) and Optimum Compound. It seems like in the early steps I can do both if I pefer, otherwise polish before pad, but once I get past SSR2.5 and the med cut pad...

Aggressiveness, which one first (Pad or Polish)

Thnks for the replies, however based of results I'm still in the same boat I was in before posting this thread. 1 says move up to next pad before polish and the other says move up polish before pad. 1 says move up both at same time. I'm leaning toward polish first. waiting on more responses..

    ? on selecting qualified detailer

Thks for the replies. It looks like I will need to find someone else. The detailer didn't want to put anything in writing. The dealership might have set a price with him which he knew he wasn't going to loose out for the type of detail I was looking for. Does anybody recommend someone in...

Aggressiveness, which one first (Pad or Polish)

supercharged So you are saying if my current pad/polish is not aggressive enough, move to the next aggressive pad and polish at the same time. Ok. A little different answer than was expected from all my reseach and threads on the forum. They all say less aggressive to most aggressive, but I...

Hello, Newbie in the process of purchasing PC and products, done at lot of research, have a few questions so when I actually try to polish my black vehicle I'll have the answers. I plan on purchasing PoorBoys SSR1.0, 2.0, 2.5 polishes and Edge Pads (Blue thru Green). Question 1.)...

    ? on selecting qualified detailer

Hello, Any advice on how to determine if detailer is going to do a high quality polishing job. What should I have him include in the statement of work. Dealership scratch hood of my black Range Rover and I got them to agree to polish my entire front clip (remove the scratches not just cover...

    Which CLAY??

I picked up Meg's clay bar for my first time detailing using a clay bar. After claying my hood I noticed some white overspray was still left on the black hood. Did some more research on clay bars and noticed reviews placed Clay Magic ahead of Meg's clay bar so I picked up Clay Magic. Reworked...

What is the Diff between S100 & P21S

Hello, I'm trying to find out if there is a difference between P21S Concours Carnauba Wax vs S100 Carnauba Wax. I've search the AG Forum and all the threads say they are identical other than one is marketed for autos and the other for bikes. They don't go into much detail, other than saying...
