    NuGlass DG 755 question...

Going to do some glass spot removal with DG755 and as I'm not concerned with the product removing the spots (probly use a red pad with GG3") I'm curious if the 755 leaves any protection behind. Can I or should I follow up with a glass sealant? thanks!

Which Pads for use with Griot's?

I have a GG 6 and 3. Have used their orange with M105/205 a lot and gotten good results. Used their red with sealants/wax stuff. For me, if I'm not really getting after something,I prefer the GG-6 with a 5" plate and the 5.5 CCS pads from Lake County for the feel. But that's just me. Take a big...

    products for wheel well detailing

xlnt daytonajae, tks! I think you're right, the key is the immediate response, the real paint protection and such is where my focus is. A nice-looking (although be it somewhat temp) wheel well will show off a nice tire job and a great set of wheels that will last for awhile longer. You never...

    products for wheel well detailing

I see GG has a wheel well or undercarriage spray that seems to be pretty nice after a wheel well and exposed area has been cleaned or is now cleaner. I've seen the video and I'm betting that a clean wheel well that's treated with that stuff looks great and is impressive to a customer. Any...

battling with cure time ..or not

Todays fancy sealants seem to require a cure time, some don't. Great products all but is there anyway (rule of thumb) that goes with polymers, acrylics, water-based and other sealants or AIO that are sealants as to what products require cure time, how much time, etc? And topping them with...

What do you think about while Detailing..

Yep! Beyond physics, time, and matter logic will always prevail. If one is not a quarter.....the other one is. As for the "sun of my day and moon of my night"..... Just another ex-supermodel trying to cope with time... ....the avenger. Love you baby!!!! And it's the...

What do you think about while Detailing..

yeah, it's one of those things that can ruin a nice evening as the receiver of the comment doesn't understand why it's even an issue. Reminds me of the scene from Schindler's List where Schindler is explaining to the pyscho nazi camp leader (who is shooting prisoners from his room's window...

    who's using the Vapamore MR-50 ??

Looks like the Vapamore MR-50 can be used for floors and floor mats with good results. Although it may seem a bit slow it looks like the results may be professional and professional-looking. If you are using one of these for floors and floor mats please advise. Thanks!

What do you think about while Detailing..

forcefield - I agree. Say you have 2 coins in your pocket, the total is 35 cents, and one of them's not a quarter. What 2 coins do you have? Why do 'slim chance' and 'fat chance' mean the same thing? Why doesn't my GF understand that the square plate, of the same diameter as the round plate...

How To: Maximize Time with a Cleaner Wax/AIO

Go to the store page and look up DG products. Good info there. DG says that the PBA (polish bonding agent) should be used before all of their polishes. Normally folks use one part DG601(PBA) with 4 parts DG (any polish) and apply in one setting. It streamlines the system and is supported by the...

How To: Maximize Time with a Cleaner Wax/AIO

A little late I know but was just reading this post on 501. Nice one BTW. I always am looking for differences between the DG's (and oothers) in abrasive, clean, polish, none, whatever but did you mention combo'ing the 501 with the bonding agent on that one? or did you not do it?

    using a siphon w/compressor?

I think I'll cover important items under hood and try the foam gun with APC (not foam cannon). Let it dwell, rinse easy with my 3 gallon spray bottle (nice garden sprayer), focus on tough spots, dry, apply dressing.
