I've had the same experience. It's the easiest polish to remove I've ever used. Only easier product to remove off paint is Blackfire Wet Diamond. Now I have to give it a shot on my trim!

As far as longevity and protection there would be no comparison. Ech2o is supposed to be a cleaner and gloss enhancer and not so much for protection. Are you using a mix with Reload or another type product in it? If so, and you want to keep up maintenance with that it would probably perform...

I definitely use a pressure washer to clean my pads at times. It's a pretty weak one and I've had no problems thus far - I've used it on pads previously cleaned with dedicated pad cleaners and there is still tons of residue in the pad that gets removed... but I do this knowing I'm accelerating...
