Does anything meet or beat ONR for multipurpose use?

Most other rinseless concentrations would be worth looking into. Ultima Waterless Wash and Wolfgang Uber are both top choices for me.

    Setting your polisher down

Usually put it on a rolling cart. and it stays upright. I put towels down if I have to lay it somewhere else. One feature of the Rupes MKII that I absolutely love is that it has a flat area on the body that allows it to be firmly set down without risk of tipping. I didn't have a first...

Who has used: Ultima Interior Guard Plus , if so pop on in.

Had the same thing happen to me. It adds a very subtle sheen but once uniform it's not noticeable at all.

Video: First time using Rupes Ibrid Nano Long Neck

Great & simple solution for something that was driving me crazy and I didn't even realize it. I kept losing the wrenches and the rotary extension piece in the foam.

    My First Rupes

I stopped using my GG6 with the 3 inch backing plate almost entirely. That's how smooth and easy to use the Nano is. I'm saving a few dollars here and there to buy a Rupes mini - I just don't like vibration with my polishers anymore. I don't do this for a living but I have never even come close...

Rotaries can and will eat paint

Thanks for the reminder, Mike. Kudos to you for posting an "oops" like this for the world to see. Just shows that things can and do happen to even the most experienced professionals out there, no matter how prepared you are.

Essence lovers please check in - questions

I've used it with McKee's on a couple of test vehicles and they are going strong after a few months of periodic tunnel touchless washing. Doing it on my own car next. It's supposed to last a year on its own since it has trace amounts of SiO2 in it but the hydrophobic properties are not what...

    Sakhir Orange/Black Extended Merino Leather

Just want to echo this. I've been using LM products since after about the 5th time I saw Bob recommend them. I thought "anyone who stands up for a product that much must really be onto something" he was totally right

Winter is around the corner! Here's how I prep.

It might have been me. I do like those cheapie ones for trim and tire dressings and stuff like that.

Winter is around the corner! Here's how I prep.

If I remember I just used a Nanoskin Fine Grade sponge because it was just a little rough. It's probably fine to use as a standalone. I never experienced any chatter with it. I would usually spray some on a slightly damp microfiber sponge or foam applicator, spread it around then buff it off...

Winter is around the corner! Here's how I prep.

Thank you. That's the one! It used to be right across the street from me before I moved. It was nice because when it snowed I could always walk over there if I got sick of whatever I had around. Also had a QuikTrip within walking distance... probably lost 10 lbs once I moved.

Winter is around the corner! Here's how I prep.

I miss it a bit during the really hot and humid days of summer, but then it gets here and I can only enjoy it for so long before it just becomes inconvenient.

RUPES Best Off-Season Prep Tip Contest!

These are some of my favorite how-to's on rinseless washing! I forgot you wrote them. Thanks for those.

Winter is around the corner! Here's how I prep.

I made this a very long time ago and wanted to share this(as well as be eligible for the Rupes contest that's currently going on) Winter is coming. This is what it was like last winter in St. Louis. It had been snowing for maybe an hour in this photo and it was heinous. Knowing that, I knew...

    Paint Thickness Guage

I've had mine for about 2 years and it still measures fine. Never had a problem getting it to zero out on the shims or calibrating it if necessary. This video made by a member here was pretty helpful: https://youtu.be/PWM4NRPAxLE

    Polisher for bad backs

I had some minor wrist tendinitis flare up on me after a couple years of using the GG6 and my doc said it was probably vibration that caused it. I went to the 3401 and while I know many would disagree with me, it can be somewhat taxing to fight with. It will punish you if you get sloppy with...
