If I remember I just used a Nanoskin Fine Grade sponge because it was just a little rough. It's probably fine to use as a standalone. I never experienced any chatter with it. I would usually spray some on a slightly damp microfiber sponge or foam applicator, spread it around then buff it off...

Thank you. That's the one! It used to be right across the street from me before I moved. It was nice because when it snowed I could always walk over there if I got sick of whatever I had around. Also had a QuikTrip within walking distance... probably lost 10 lbs once I moved.

I miss it a bit during the really hot and humid days of summer, but then it gets here and I can only enjoy it for so long before it just becomes inconvenient.

I've had mine for about 2 years and it still measures fine. Never had a problem getting it to zero out on the shims or calibrating it if necessary. This video made by a member here was pretty helpful: https://youtu.be/PWM4NRPAxLE
