Winter is around the corner! Here's how I prep.

Sure, rub it in. Go jump off the Golden Gate, Brutal. Lmao

 Sorry about that.

We are going through what seems to be another dry spell. Too much of everything is bad.... Some rain would actually be welcoming.

2BM for the paint and how about the wheels? :)

Now I have to get a third gamma seal! No, I just bring a wheel brush and spray wheels with Meguiar's D143 and clean brush with pressure washer after each tire, wheel, and wheel well. Third bucket would be too crazy, because bringing 10 gallons of your own water to car wash isn't crazy enough:)

I touched up all the windows with CarPro Reload. I'll be reapplying the coating to the windshield later in my process. If you don't have sealant or a coating on your windows, skip this and just apply one at the end of the process.

So are you saying not to apply Reload to your exterior glass as a stand alone? I don't have a glass coating, but I do have some Reload, just never thought about using it for glass until now. Good idea or nah? Will it cause wiper chatter?

Did it pass the baggie test after winter?

If I remember I just used a Nanoskin Fine Grade sponge because it was just a little rough.

It's probably fine to use as a standalone. I never experienced any chatter with it. I would usually spray some on a slightly damp microfiber sponge or foam applicator, spread it around then buff it off. Always helped with streaking. Now I just touch up the glass with Crystal Seal or Ultima Paint Guard plus and forget about it.

Cool. Another use for these disposable foam pads I just got from China.

Was it you who I briefly spoke to about these kind of foam applicators a while back? These things are totally useable, they're sweet!

Quality is up to par and @ a dozen for only $1 I'm totally getting some more.

I no longer have to debate about whether I should use another fresh foam applicator. Now I just use em and toss em.:)

Where did you get those foam applicators? PM me?

It might have been me. I do like those cheapie ones for trim and tire dressings and stuff like that.
