I use CarPro PERL, diluted to suit personal taste. Some want a super shiny engine compartment, some like a nice satin sheen, PERL can do both and lasts pretty good as well.
Very interesting results here. I was wondering how this would turn out. I've been looking into DLux for awhile now, but wanted to give the Wolf's the benefit of the doubt, as I do with everything I consider. Perhaps the Wolf's was meant to be along the same lines as PERL on external trim, but a...
My favorites are:
-Christine
-Gone in 60 Seconds
-American Graffiti
Also one of my favorites, even though it's actually a motorcycle movie, it's one of the best I've seen, and based on a true story:
-The World's Fastest Indian
Very good post here. Also, I would recommend The Divine Comedy by Dante Alighieri. It's a collection of 3 stories known as Inferno (most have heard of this one), Purgatorio, and Paradiso. It's a very long read, but a great one.
Before I run out of them, I'm looking for a full size pots of:
-Rubbish Boy's OE
-Dodo RB Juiced Editon
On the chance anyone wants to part with one/both, PM me :xyxthumbs:
The benefits of using MS or another 'nuba wax are in the looks department, rather than durability. I personally like the softer, glowing look of MS over BFWD, but some prefer the "harder", slick look. It depends on what you think looks best.

You are correct about the flashing times of CS. Forgive me, it's been quite the long day, so my mind was still stuck on BFWD

As a Blackfire fan myself, I'll try to help with your questions:
1. In my experience, there would be no real difference in durability/looks if you were to forgo the BFWD under the CS.
2. You can do multiple coats of CS, but I would give about 24 hrs between coats to give the CS a chance to cure...
IronX is some great stuff! I personally find more use with TRIX, as its the same thing, but removes tar as well (also gives a green hue when it reacts with tar). I haven't found a Carpro product I didn't like!

My favorite wax that's available to me OTC is Meg's 26 in liquid form. I've been using it for almost 10 years, it looks great and makes the paint feel like butter. That being said, I haven't used it as much lately since I'm currently hooked on the BFWD/BFMS combo.

I would like to try the AF Spirit wax. I've heard that it rivals Swissvax as well, so I'm very intrigued to see how it performs. I would also like to do my very first detailing product write-up with this, since by the time I've remembered to try to do one lately, the car is already done, so no...
If you want something that's going to ask quite a long time, I would go with the Carpro CQuartz fabric/leather protectant, it's extremely hydrophobic and should guard against dirt/discoloration quite well. It's a bit more expensive, but you pay for an amazing product, and you won't have to coat...
As Mike also suggested, Optimum Power Clean is one of my personal favorites. I have experienced no staining/discoloration on any interior surface I've used it on, and it's cleaning power still amazes me. If you have reservations about using an APC, Blackfire Interior Cleaner is also a great...
Awesome review! :xyxthumbs: I've liked all the Carpro products I've tried so far, so I'm very curious to how this is going to hold up for you, as I'm looking for something like this for the gigantic cowl covers on my Trans Ams that always seem to fade out, so hopefully the DLux works out well...
I'm glad I waited so long to view this thread, I honestly am at a loss for words. What has been seen, cannot be unseen.
As for the group buy- I'm totally in! J/K
^This. Take this for what you will, but I have heard this "from the horse's mouth", so to speak (NOT myself, rest assured)- UPS will sit on packages that are shipped "standard" for a day or two so that it purposely takes longer for them to reach the destination. They do this in the hopes that...
