Makes sense well I'll give the 7/8" pads a try and see how it goes. I'll be ordering those today since they're on sale. Unfortunately I won't get to use these till December probably since I'm getting the rest around Christmas time.

I've been following all your threads! Why would the low profile pads be better though than the 1.25"?

Thanks guys I've pretty much made my mind up. I'll be going with the wolfgang line up and 845 using LC HT 5.5" pads. Once I finish my car and get some practice I'll be getting the MF system for variety as well as some other products.

I had a screwdriver & was feeling ambitious today

I changed mine for the first time about 6 months ago! My AC has never blew colder and the air hasn't smelled this fresh since I bought my Honda. Easy fix that saves you $$ since the dealer always wants like $50 to install cabin filters

Yeah I'll probably just stick with UC with a white pad and see how that goes. Is there any information out there about paint specs from the various manufacturers?

I was really interested in the MF system, but I remember reading somewhere that it doesn't do to well on soft Honda paint. That's great to know though because I have some UC that was given to me. I'll definitely look into the Blackfire Wet Diamond. Thanks! That was the main reason I started...

Background: I've got a 2004 Honda Element which like most I unknowingly had neglected until I found AGO. This car is my DD which I drive to work (30mi.) and out and about. It has plenty of swirls and micro marring from taking it to the car wash etc., and now that I'm aware of how ugly all the...

Yeah, I'll be reading up for quite a while. I want to make sure I do it right the first time. What 7424xp package would be sufficient for a beginner? I don't know exactly how many foam pads etc. I need.
